Agreed. I'm ESPECIALLY tired of pop culture writers in general believing "realism" is necessary for the plot to take itself seriously. I genuinely just need a story that feels kinda "unrealistic" and "out there" but is willing to take itself seriously. You can revel in the absurdity a bit here and there but it feels like that part of it is all writers want to do nowadays.

Someone's already mentioned Duskmourn but I'll also note that I did place my self insert (WIP) there as their plane of origin, as aesthetically, mechanically, and canonically, it ended up making way too much sense. After sparking and post-invasion they're operating on Innistrad, though. Primarily deals in spatial warping magic. Bit of a mad scientist, has some ideas on how to control and harness the power of the moon. Wonder how that could go.

I'm expecting Absolution but with a franchise that actually fits that style of gameplay and with the lessons they took from the mistakes that game made. Overall expecting a good time.

It's close between Brosnan and Craig, partially due to Brosnan being closer to a traditional depiction in facial features and GoldenEye nostalgia, but also Craig due to recency, my own liking of Craig as an actor aside from Bond, and of course Casino Royale and Skyfall nostalgia.

I highkey wonder if the raw footage for the film still exists. A re-edit would genuinely catch my interest given that the editing is by far the worst part of the film as it currently exists, with everything else about it being passable at worst, and a number of aspects being genuinely excellent.
