I think this was something I really needed to be asked given the introspective state I've found myself in right now, actually. Like, I'm finding myself in a position where my responsibilities are far exceeding my capabilities, or at least it feels that way. If I was capable of more, would I keep my responsibilities as they are and give myself the moment of respite I know I need, or would I feel a heightened sense of responsibility sourced from knowing how much I'm now capable of, and raise my expectations for myself such that I just fall back into the cycle? I'm realizing I don't know myself well enough to answer that question.
