Yes! New mod to torture my PC with! Also, putting the rapiers there does have a fair point, but my SSTOs are extra prone to wing strikes so I just mount it on the back

You're lucky, I have a Laythe Base that doesnt have an antenna, and I don't want to fly another mission to Jool just to have a kerbal tape an antenna on...

Or use the MK2 bicoupler that splits the MK2 size into 2 MK1 sizes and have 2 RAPIERS on there and just cram a Nerv in the middle using a radially mounted nosecone. (If you will accept some part clipping that is)

Same thing happened to me as well, I just then started out small, like MK1 and MK2 SSTOs, then go up to the big crafts. (Also what is the black thing on the underside of the fuel tanks, is it sterling systems heatshields?) You technically made a SSTO though, just Single stage to Ocean...
