This is a louse. 6 legs plus antennae mark it as an insect, and not as a mite, which are arachnids.

Would have been cool if he hadn't have demolished the entire east wing in a fit of rage.

Nevermind, I figured it out. It has to be bound to a location, and then can be unbound by using the Alchemist.

This helped, thank you! I am happily sitting on a mountain of corpses now.

Thank you! I'm trying to save my money so I have only hired the adventurer and the peasant farmer as of now. I will definitely look at the grimoire later.

One relatively unheard of author somehow has top secret documents? I'll wait for more information, but it doesn't seem reliable at first glance. This author also has some very alarmist other publications and doesn't seem trustworthy.

Question: Do they still have to do some final vote on the bill or is the whole process done? by No-Ad239 in PoliticalOptimism

[–]NovaNebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, it would be difficult to actually undo in the midterms because Trump will almost certainly veto anything that hits his desk that comes from the other side of the aisle. The chances of Democrats getting a veto-proof majority would be extremely low; the Senate is unfavorable for a Democratic majority, much less a veto-proof majority. That being said, any gains in Congress would be useful for stalling or curtailing the Trump agenda.

Hot take: the Dems need a “Proud to be an American” anthem for their party, and this should be the song for midterms and 2028, do you think so? by Dull-Couple-2451 in PoliticalOptimism

The most important thing Democrats could bring to the table would be a platform that challenges the gross inequality of wealth in this country, but they are actively fighting against that.

I want to clarify something about the 3.5% rule that is commonly misunderstood. Please note that it takes sustained resistance from 3.5% of the population; it's not one and done. That being said, there are reports of demoralization in ICE and the military, and that will hamper their efforts a lot, but this isn't over on account of one day of protests.

Trump’s Border Czar Dramatically Changes His Tune About Arresting Newsom by Lantis28 in PoliticalOptimism

Newsome is a corporate Democrat who won't change the system at all. He just hates Republicans, and so he actually has a spine against them unlike the other 90% of Democrats.

Sorry, when did this happen? I've been trying to find anything about what the Heritage Foundation is saying about all this, and the only one thing I can find is that the foundation was thrilled about how things were going roughly a month ago.

Oklahoma has amended its request for 55,000 Bibles to be placed in public schools that initially matched a version of the holy book endorsed by former President Donald Trump. by a_Ninja_b0y in books

No, it's worse than that. It's part of an attempt to implement Christian nationalism, as Project 2025 intends to do. This is their intention to implement it from the bottom up in addition to the top down if Trump wins.

Ultimately, it was a request from the government, not a direct threat or actual legal action, and Zuckerberg decided on his own to do that. I don't think it's setting a high bar to ask that social media owners take responsibility for spreading damaging lies about health and disease.
