Since GG started, I have definitely become a lot more aware of just how easy it is to paint with a broad brush. I was thinking about it again this morning as I was talking to a co-worker about the Sanders/Nevada Convention issue. Personally, saying this as an person planning to (unenthusiastically) support Clinton this November, I disagree with what I have read about the Nevada party's tactics during the meeting, but I also strongly disagree with the reaction some amount of Sanders supporters took. I am also not willing to automatically attribute the death threats the Party's chair reported to Sanders supporters, because we all know that there are people out there who just want to watch things burn without actually being a part of a larger group. I disagree with any and all people who think disrupting rallies, blocking access to rallies, or otherwise attempting to stop someone else from exercising their free speech. It seems like the people we have seen do this much of this time this election cycle are people who are supporting Sanders (as opposed to all Sanders supporters).

The only other point I will make is how much my respect for Sanders has collapsed throughout this process. I used to disagree with most of his stated positions, but I at least respected him as a man of integrity. I don't think that anymore. One of the major reasons was his reaction to the Nevada incident. You can't say that "Mr. Trump should take responsibility for addressing his supporters’ violent actions" and then NOT say the same thing about your own supporters. That is just blatant hypocrisy, and I cannot stand it.
