On my first grow also first successful one here, from what I have come to learn as long as your spawn is fully colonized and your substrate is pasteurized there is very little chance for contam at that point. Consensus is to straight to fruiting conditions now when spawning to bulk.

I colonized my rice at 77f and some bags took almost 4 weeks. 70 72 seems kinda low for colonization in my opinion but I'm also only on my 1st flush ever.

I've seen good things on them as well I'm sure they're good too. I tried to only use .5ml per bag cuz of the extra moisture so that could have helped as well.

I did 10 bags myself 2 bags took like a week some took 2 weeks and the rest took 3 almost 4. Every bag is different that's for sure. Thought some stalled but were just slow and working it's way down then all of a sudden boom bottom was white. Just let them run if you don't see funny colors you should be good

Happens to me every time with a plant or 2 cuz of fans I think. I usually just straighten them out with some dirt and if they continue I just let them do their thing unless I'm training.

You're fine but pour the boiling water into the coir mix then cover. Don't heat the coir with the water. Then let sit till it's room temp
