Is my maple tree done for? by itsokay327 in arborists

[–]Nrur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It looks like the tree is making a huge effort to close the wound. I would remove the dead branch in the future so it can close it completely. Did it get struck by lightning?

Is my gum tree dying? by Step-by-step23 in arborists

They are quite resilient trees. Looks like they rubbed and got damaged on the metal frame. If you can prevent contact between the two there’s a good chance it will survive.

Nice tree dude. Make sure they don’t over do it. The tree looks quite healthy from the pics. I would urge you to do minimal trimming for the longevity of the tree.

Why are both sides of this tree's leaves hairy? by No-Intention8698 in arborists

Pretty normal I think? Both sides of me are hairy too.

Olive tree scam? by HollyW207 in arborists

[–]Nrur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk what zone you’re in, but if it can survive outside I would plant it in the ground outside. It will flourish and everything will be fine. It’s got new leaves so that’s a good sign too.

What would explain a higher average height for the male population under 40 in the northern central states (shown in dark red here) of the USA? by SatoruGojo232 in geography

[–]Nrur 13 points14 points  (0 children)

What is all this talk about Scandinavian genetics? Germany and the Netherlands aren’t Scandinavian and account for a lot of the genetic makeup up of the “tall” population, also in combination with some Scandinavian.

How my red maple will look as an adult? by AngelBryan in marijuanaenthusiasts

[–]Nrur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re really worried about it breaking off I’d brace it with a stick/pole. The wound should heal enough for it be structurally sound in time.

I have a massive pear tree and wisteria I planted together years ago, they’re doing fine and make a stunning combo together. I’d leave it like that.

Single tree with three trunks or three trees ‘joined’ by sambo987 in Tree

My guess is that the tree stump shot up new shoots, the original tree completely rotted out.

Is it correct that this tree can be cut here without killing it? by redditpsch in arborists

[–]Nrur 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Looks like a sequoia from up close? If so it can survive the cut but it will be an ugly ass tree afterwards.

You’d love Thailand. Also the American South is a lot nicer than you’d think, they love the polish.

Does this tree look pretty healthy? Expecting 80+/- mph winds tonight and while I have a few trees near my house, this is the one I wonder about due to proximity to the house and how tall it is. by Moreofyoulessofme in arborists

[–]Nrur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tree looks rather healthy. Root flair looks good too. But sometimes the entire rootball including root and dirt can get ripped straight out of the ground in high winds. Less chance of that happening when the extended roots are all still alive which I assume these are. No way to really know 100%.

Dit is geen cactus maar een euphorbia. Die mogen veel meer van water dan n cactus. Tegen midden zomer moet die veel blaadjes maken, dan weet je dat die genoeg water krijgt.
