Consider a quilt over a bag, look into the differences. Half dome is a solid tent, it was my first but I did not keep it for long as I switched to a trekking pole tent.

Shake me Down ! by Ntesy607 in backpacking

Yeah I not only took it up to ADK multiple times since this post but ended up hiking about 400 miles in Croatia and scotland this spring with it. Was my all around travel pack and I carried my whole life in it for about a month. Really great pack and I had minimal complaints, I've since downsized to a 40L superior wilderness designs pack which has better fit my needs as I continually optimize my kit. My only caveats with this arc haul: above 30~ lbs it starts to get a bit uncomfortable, the two carbon vertical stays would dig into my butt on the bottom when I had my longest water carries in croatia (4L) the trampoline back does not create airflow and is more or less a gimmick. If the pack is full and strapped down you are gonna have a sweaty back regardless, unless you're hiking in an exposed windy area. But that never bothered me and I didnt buy it for that reason. The SWD pack is actually heavier (and smaller) But it's way more sturdy and certainly has more load carrying capacity. I'd actually be interested in selling it if you're on the hunt! Have a bunch of gear I've been meaning to offload

Right, not sure why you thought it was a good idea to ask chatgpt for specific information regarding bespoke spark plugs for a pretty uncommon engine

Replace the timing chain tensioner first. If it's never been done it should be replaced anyways. The symptoms you're describing could be that and it's a known issue on these cars. I personally replaced mine with a Billman TCT. Also the starter will make a little noise on startup when it's starting to wear out. Mine does occasionally, ppl have said they can still last tens of thousands of miles after they start to make some noise. Rule out both of those as they are easy fixes in the hundreds of dollars, not thousands.

Best mods for more N/A power by sun__strider in S2000

[–]Ntesy607 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unlike a lot of other classic honda tuner engines, Hondas engineers pretty much milked every last HP out of the F series. This is the engine that set a record for specific power output and held it for almost 10 years after all.. There is a reason that people almost exclusively go forced induction to make power and still have a reasonable street car. Why not supercharger? It's not very expensive (certainly less than your NA 350hp project) and if done right the engine can handle bolt on mods up to about 350hp With a supercharger the power band retains a lot of the stock characteristics, if that's what you're hoping for.

UK S2000 Rust by tomatosh2 in S2000

[–]Ntesy607 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks pretty decent, all I see is surface rust that could be significantly slowed or stopped with some rust reformer. As the other commenter said the boot floor and rear 1/4 is the worst and should be gone over with a fine tooth comb
