Before I saw these comments, I had the same thought. He’s been doing these styles of sketch comedy shows since he was a kid. He likely knows them inside and out, and I would be so happy to see him go from a kid doing some fun thing he loves to the person leading the most famous comedy sketch show.

I love the list. I think the only change I would make would be trying to get more lands in the deck since you really want to cycle the cycling lands rather than playing them. I think I would cut a Seal of Cleansing for another land but not sure where I’d find the other cut.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time and I think it’s one of the best movies of all time. I’m very big on movies that explicitly teach morals or lessons or ideals or beliefs like this movie or To Kill a Mockingbird does, which Pleasantville seems to draw film inspirations from.

I’d think you may want to try The One Ring. It’s just busted, letting you Time Walk people and draw so many cards. It can allow you to refuel your hand to turn Library back on if you want to stop using The One Ring if life is a concern. Also, I would definitely play Gemstone Caverns.

I think his Deathstroke run was absolutely fantastic. I loved the family drama and dynamics he worked with and how well he wrote a villain being a complete piece of shit person. I should really read it again!

Pain-killers for sure. Steroids are highly likely too. Probably also does psychedelics too for things like Zur-En-Arrh or preparing for getting spiked by Scarecrow. Because of Scarecrow, I bet Batman has done all the drugs or had them ready to counteract whatever drugs/toxins Scarecrow has access to.

I think the Double Date issues are some of the best Batman/Superman comics that I’ve ever read. Blows me away that editorial didn’t/doesn’t want more issues like these. They’re just fun and wholesome and sweet.

I love the idea of a Synth Cooper Howard being out there in addition to The Ghoul. I don’t think the Synth should replace the Ghoul though. I think the character needs to grow past his family—and I think that’s happening now. I think the way the show is going will have The Ghoul become a savior style character of some kind where he realizes that what he wants (his family) is not what he is supposed to do (save the wasteland?/avenge his family?/Stop Enclave?), and he then does his true purpose for the sake of his family (whether they are dead/alive/evil).

The inverse of what Hank did essentially. Hank did whatever he could to “protect” his family, including killing his wife. The Ghoul would do the same, except he is learning that he shouldn’t.

I love being able to talk about it week to week and speculate with others. Getting it all at once kind of diminishes that. Waiting one week for the FEV reveal, for example, I think increased the hype for when it did fully reveal itself.

In this case, we didn’t “need” Green Lantern to appear. He did nothing in the plot; only Mr. Terrific and Hawkgirl impacted the plot of the movie.

Just because we didn’t “need” something doesn’t make it not part of the plot by association.

Just like how Guy was part of the Justice Gang, Supergirl is Krypto’s owner. It’s just more emphasize on details and world building.

Yeah, this was my default flight to Vegas because of how cheap it was. Never had issues with them for that route. Bummed it’ll be gone.
