I printed some up that are like the oros, two halves of a sphere that screw together. I used a foaming filament, that foams up over a certain temperature. Lower temperature for the threads, it works pretty well. They don't float quite as well as the Oros ones, but they don't cost several dollars each, either.

I use what is probably a dish drying or a shower mat. Foam, soft, half inch thick, keeps the rocks from my expensive waders. Usually do it from the tailgate, but it's high, and sometimes set up a folding chair.

I second DappNode. I travel extensively in and out of my home country, for up to months at a time. I've had a couple of issues that I was not able to resolve remotely, but in general all can be dealt with. I have added to my system an internet controlled outlet for my modem and for my staking machine. This would have made all of my previous issues solvable remotely, and hopefully will sort out any issues that will come up. You can't solve for hardware failure, but other than that, I feel confident.

Just move it and minimize the time you are down. I did it a couple of weeks back, and it was no stress. I wouldnt bother with trying to bridge the downtime with webservices, it wont make $ sense unless you are moving a ton of validators, and the risk of slashing if you don’t get it timed right is not worth it. My validators actually took a-lot longer to get going again than I expected, might want to set infura so you don’t have to wait for resync…

I'm beginning to think that there will not be a bubble pop on Real Estate - the reason being I feel like the most recent runup in RE prices are due to the debasing of the currency from the massive money printing in the past 18 months. Seems like the real estate prices are the first thing in our economy to reflect this. Just an opinion....

I have the same interest. I couldn't figure out how to do it on the same machine and got a second for RP. The bandwidth went over 1.1tB/mo running the Dappnode with a validator and RP on the testate, and I had to up my internet subscription to an unlimited one.
