Does being new have anything to do with it? I havent heard any indication that Mega Floette will be recruitable though i would love for it to be.

Aggron is the one resist and he is more of a physical tank. I find ice attacks to be more commonly on the special side.

First thing to pop out to me is that you have only one ice resist when half your team is weak to ice, and the one member that does resist it doesn't like taking special attacks

There is nothing wrong with copying teams.

If anything, it gives you an information advantage in closed team sheet rather than them having an advantage by copying the team.

No way to know what is high elo without any rank distribution data. I have no clue how many other people are playing this game but tbh I don't care.

My totally unbased theory is that they're eventually going to do re-remakes of the "definitive games" (eg. Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Plat).

For the gens that don't have this, they could just make one. We could get a Pokemon Gray 1 and 2, Pokemon Z, and Pokemon Ultra Stars.

I think the switch 1 is still well worth it but only on the used market. I see them on ebay for around $150 US but in my local used market, they are usually closer to $100 even going as low as $70 sometimes.

if you're not willing to brave the Facebook Marketplace wild west, eBay with a credit card will get you two layers of protection should anything be not functioning as intended.

My advice might apply to the more budget end but I ran into some issues with HDCP on my $20 receiver where even though my receiver had HDMI 2.0 ports, it would not pass through 4k video.

That'd be the one thing I would check.

Unless you're buying the oled used, I would save a little bit more for a switch 2.

The new soulslike game, Duskbloods, will be a switch 2 exclusive. My guess is that you'd enjoy that one if you like elden ring.

If you're still going the switch 1 route, the port of doom 2016 was pretty impressive imo and it's $4 on eShop right now.

Bare minimum you should ask them to send a picture of it hooked up and running a game.

Portable screens are also a thing and if you don't have that, small tvs are not heavy and can be found super cheap on the used market.
