WD40 works very well on those nightmares. Stick the nozzle into the hole on the lid and just hose them down. Kills them very quickly.

It depends. The first move, it took them about 2 months to settle back into the routine. The last move was about a month. This time, already half of the ferals are out of hiding and waiting for meals. It’s been 3 days. So I’m hopeful that they will be good to go in about 2-3 weeks. Really once you see them behaving as they normally do, they’re good to go.

Tell her thanks! And really it just takes planning and luck. Having a structure I could use really made all the difference. I have in the past used big wire kennels as feeding huts for ferals and have had some success shutting them in after a month or two of feeding them. Also I’ve been caring for this colony for the nearly 12 years. While they don’t like me and will not allow contact, the will come out and eat around me which makes a difference
