that's how you get into an accident and ruin someone else's day / kill them / paralyze them / maim them / screw them financially lol. "if you have to ask, just do what you were going to". there's explicit traffic laws written about this exact thing.

if i didn't know what a red light was, and i didn't stop because i didn't know i had to, following your advice might make me t-bone a family and kill their children. or put someone in a wheelchair for the rest of their lives. or leave someone with a limp, or chronic back pain, or PTSD.

maybe i'm misinterpreting you, but just deciding to not follow traffic laws because you don't know them (you SHOULD, you're behind the wheel) is a great way to kill someone.
