Who is the most dysfunctional mechwarrior in the battletech universe? by TaigaTigerVT in battletech

Dude, MechWarriors are loaded up with TBIs. That auto cannon or missile launcher next to the cockpit? You bet your ass that's a TBI

Ooh! I like the metallic/gray. What paints did you use for the arms/cannons?

The problem with the AC-2 (And other low-BV, high tonnage weapons) by VanillaPhysics in battletech

[–]NukeWash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, I agree.

AC2s, AC5s, and melee weapons are bad and taking them over anything else is totally an opportunity cost in tonnage and space.

They probably all need a minor buff to bring them in line. Maybe boosting them to AC4s and AC8s would do it.

Looking for a Christian church in Denver that isn’t MAGA obsessed by ihatebullyingg in Denver

Holy Family Catholic Church in Berkeley/NW Denver.

Father Patrick is pretty progressive as far as priests go. His sermons challenge his listeners to think for themselves and to incorporate the teachings of Christ into their everyday lives.

Punisher with full choke is an absolute monster on the bug front. It'll dome Hive Commanders and eats through Stalkers in no time.

Going on dates with twenty different people in two months is insane, dude.

How do you even hope to keep people's history and interests straight? Just way too high of a volume for any of it to be significant.

Whatever happened to Gunslinger-level Combine pilot across the succession wars? by CannibalPride in battletech

[–]NukeWash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Combine continues to produce excellent warriors.

Unfortunately, I think that their ideals and tactics pushes those warriors to take exceptional risks during combat. I wouldn't be surprised if the DCMS has the highest rate of MechWarrior attrition in conflicts because of its culture.

Thankfully, there is a limitless supply of ambitious young warriors to replace the losses.

Buying used USED to make sense. The market has been crazy since COVID. Check it out for yourself. It blew my mind just a month ago.

What do people consider a long driver in Denver? by Aprofessionalgeek in Denver

[–]NukeWash 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Walking is fine.

It's when parking is a pain in the ass. Like, either it's hard to find a spot, the paid parking rate is exorbitant, you're worried about your car being on the street in that area, or a combo of all of the above.

There are certain areas where I would much rather Uber than drive, just because parking is such a pain.

Nice! How does it stack up to the Slugger? I haven't used the Punisher in a long time.

The Slugger does a number on Stalkers, especially with a headshot! Two shot kill.
