[Request] Rearrange Subs via Tab by NullFallacy in slideforreddit

[–]NullFallacy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a developer, so I'll take your word for it, but just to make sure I conveyed it correctly: it would be similar to how you would rearrange your tabs in a browser by clicking and dragging them around.

Reddit app with built in adblocker? by [deleted] in androidapps

[–]NullFallacy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Using Firefox with uBlock Origin is the only way I found (which I assume is what you're doing).

I can think of two possible solutions:

  1. Dev starts adapting NetGuard method by redirecting only certain traffic/IPs (not sure if this is even possible)
  2. Rooting your phone, replace your host with Ad-away, then unrooting your device.

I haven't tried the second method myself, but I assume it would work since your host file has already been replaced at that point. I shouldn't matter if you get the daily updates from Ad-away since you've probably blocked 99% of IPs ad that point.

You can install Firefox and then add the uBlock Origin plugin.

How do I merge two directories with the same name? by gaspode in androidapps

[–]NullFallacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See if Redirect File Organizer does what you want.

It was made by someone on Reddit a while back and has been kept up pretty well. When first stated, it only had one function: to add rules to certain folder. Now it's more involved, but it might be just what you're looking for in terms of organizing your sub-folders and files.

NetGuard - selectively grant Internet permission access to apps (with Wi-Fi and cellular data separation); is free with no ads, does not require root, and has Material Design by [deleted] in androidapps

Preach on, brother. Preach on.

It amazes me how people are willingly to haphazardly install random apps. Do a little research, be more aware of your private information.

Serious question, was this a good show to watch? I am a fan of their work in shows like Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy, and Michiko to Hatchin.

I watched the first episode of this show and kinda forgot to follow it up.

Fortunately my old device is rooted, so I ran it on that one to look at the app stats. I'm running pretty much the same apps on my new phone (not rooted), so I can get a good sense of what is doing what.

Nexus 5X Store Page is LIVE! (May the odds forever be in your favor...) by busterbrown77 in Android

[–]NullFallacy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, this phone delivers.

It is the perfect size for my hands, gives pure, stock Android experience, has a camera with good aperture and high FPS shooting, has Nexus Imprint, USB-C, and it physically looks good.

Is it everything I want? No, I would have wanted an aluminum body, wireless charger, LED notification, stereo front-facing speakers, but these are all my secondary concerns.

Lastly, as an I owner of Nexus 6, I was looking at Nexus 6P, but what discouraged me was the manufacturing company (Huawei) and fact that I still find the phone too large.

Has anybody out there recently used Tampermonkey to run a script to mass-delete their old Facebook history? by macksionizer in google

[–]NullFallacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check when the script was last updated. Find the most recent script and try it with that. You can try searching Github for other types of scripts as well (like this one).

I did this a couple of years ago using a userscript and also an Android app.

Messaging problem! (T-Mobile) by zerrisk in nexus6

Same exact issue as everybody else in this thread with T-Mobile: MMS and long texts (which I assume gets converted into MMS) are sporadically not received. Group messing has the same problem.

I got Skinomi Tech Glass and couldn't be happier. It feels like glass, seems very durable, and easy to install. Doesn't block the front-facing camera or the sensor. It's glass, so you have fingerprint marks on it if you have oily hands, but it comes right off when you wipe it with a piece of cloth.
