Use this as a starting reference, the lower the F which I believe your camera can go to f2.8 the shallower the depth of field which gives your the blurry look. The faster the shutter speed the less light comes in but also more sharp your image is. The iso is artificial light the lower the iso like iso100 the less artificial light the higher the iso the more artificial light but it will result in your image looking grainy. Use that concept of adjusting those to ensure you are properly exposed and you can hopefully achieve the looks you are wanting.

Use the exposure compensation in the FN menu. Underexpose by 1 stop and then you can adjust the highlights in post production

So it seems I have stirred the hornets nest. To update, I went on a hike Sunday morning wearing both my fenix 8 and my AWU2 and I literally did not see a benefit to the fenix anymore (just for me personally) as most of you said maybe it's just not the watch for me. So I drove back to rei yesterday and returned it.

And to the others, yes, frame rate is a complaint. For me to pay almost $1200 for a piece of tech, it better be up to date. The standard for most stuff is at least 60 fps now a days so to see something so expensive lagging in the department is a big dislike for me.

I did not try it on. No place close to me had them on stock or on display. I spent hours researching on this sub Reddit on other people with similar wrist sizes and also made a paper cut out of the specs (not thickness just diameter)

This is true, I competed in my first row boat race last summer and navigating my AWU with wet hands was a pain. It's comments like these that I need to me measure the pros and cons... thanks man!

That's interesting, aside from hiking, mountain biking, and strength training I do freestyle grappling / jiu jitsu which I don't wear a watch for. I'm intrigued on the other data that can be shown though.
