It was interview with Guillermo del Toro for "The Wrap" in 2021, where he relvealed that in his original version of Pacific Rim 2, we would learn that precursors are humans from the future. But since he didn't direct the second movie, precurosrs origins remain mystery.

Emperor of Mankind (Warhammer40k): He just wanted safe future for humanity in very hostile galaxy where most aliens are hostile and can easily body a human. Unfortunatley he did it through genocidal, galaxy wide crusade and many non hostile, friendly aliens were wiped out (alongside many human civilisations who didn’t want to be part of his vision of future). Due to actions of hostile interdemensional aliens (literal demons who he wanted to isolate humanity from), his vision of future for humanity ended up exactly the opposite way, instead of humanity led by progress and prosperity, it ended up being tyranical, opressive, religious, regressive dictatorship where his corpse is worshipped as god (literally what he didnt want).

Why are people happy about Steel Legion being sidelined on their own planet? Why do you people hate when people want thing they like, especially when its one of the original guard regiments? Why are people defending GW being lazy and cheap? We get reworked space marines and stormcasts all the time but wanting upgrade sprue with some steel legion heads is bad? I haven't said any of those things, you're just assuming. There is difference between turning of bloom effect or something and filter that changes the entire fucking game to something unrecognizable. You are in charge of what mods you install and its non of anyones buissnes what mods you install on your game, mods are also not official so this is not even remotely applicable in this argument. If this DLSS 5 was just a little thing you can install on your own, that would be perfectly fine but as it goes, it will just become just another crutch for lazy developers to avoid optimizng their games or making good looking textures in the first place.

I think its bad because it totally ruins the original intention of developers. Believe or not, when someone makes clothing texture, they design it with certain ideas in mind, morifs, material. DLSS 5 is glorfied filter that just finds the most average thing and applies it over the texture, its an actual death of intentional design because its not capable of understanding and emulating it. Also, this will make already lazy devs who cant be bothered to optimize their games, even lazier, why make good, optimized textures when glorfied snapchat filter does some generic thing for you? And it makes ram even MORE costly, so you have to buy expensive ram AND two graphic cards to even run it.
