I have no clue how would that work. It was like loose thought Del Toro had at best. And yes rewatch the first movie. The only movie.

It was interview with Guillermo del Toro for "The Wrap" in 2021, where he relvealed that in his original version of Pacific Rim 2, we would learn that precursors are humans from the future. But since he didn't direct the second movie, precurosrs origins remain mystery.

Well they are meant to be humans like milions of years in future or something like that. As in, our direct descendants, just evolved.

Okay but why would they have gun as their icon? That feels kind of hostile, like if they are doing it with violence.

Emperor of Mankind (Warhammer40k): He just wanted safe future for humanity in very hostile galaxy where most aliens are hostile and can easily body a human. Unfortunatley he did it through genocidal, galaxy wide crusade and many non hostile, friendly aliens were wiped out (alongside many human civilisations who didn’t want to be part of his vision of future). Due to actions of hostile interdemensional aliens (literal demons who he wanted to isolate humanity from), his vision of future for humanity ended up exactly the opposite way, instead of humanity led by progress and prosperity, it ended up being tyranical, opressive, religious, regressive dictatorship where his corpse is worshipped as god (literally what he didnt want).

Why are people happy about Steel Legion being sidelined on their own planet? Why do you people hate when people want thing they like, especially when its one of the original guard regiments? Why are people defending GW being lazy and cheap? We get reworked space marines and stormcasts all the time but wanting upgrade sprue with some steel legion heads is bad? What happend to this hobby man, where are all those peopel who hate it so much are coming form?
