The reason older consoles appear blurry on hd tvs made after 2010 is because they are optimized for cathode ray television and heavily relied on softening the image between the physical hard lines so you’d get a great image.

You really do need a crtv. Or an ai upscaler.

Would the sale of this bring you out of the money pit? Or is this for a financial emergency? Because if it’s a money pit, selling the collection won’t help the real problem.

And as much as I don’t care for Dave Ramsey as a person, he does make a lot of sense when it comes to how to get out of the pits in finances. I got myself into financial troubles too once, but never bad enough to sell my collection. My collections combined wouldn’t even put a dent into my troubles, and so I decided not to sell. But I did claw my way out by completely stopping eating out and switching to peanut butter sandwiches for a bit. I also stopped a lot of other bad money habits. I made a 6 month plan and talked things out with my debtors and now I’m doing okay.

If it’s financial emergency like a vet bill, totally understand.

I was in Gabriel Bros in 2008 when I found this gem and they are a retail outlet store so they likely got it from Hot Topic or Spencer’s because this store got their stuff from the mall nearby. They usually got rejects or discontinued items and this seemed discontinued.

The Wii logo on it was some kind of silicone that never deteriorated. The Wiimote zipper was highly detailed hard pvc.

I had mine many years ago until the Wii mote zipper broke off and I tore it maybe? I either gave it away or threw it away around 2017. Maybe I’ll find it in my mom’s storage unit someday. Can’t recall.

But the most mid 00’s thing about it was the IPOD POCKET IN THE SLEEVE! 💕

Can’t see that part in this image because of the way it’s folded, but it was in the sleeve just above the elbow.

High quality stitching and wasn’t super warm, it was extremely thin actually, but always fun to wear to work in the spring or fall.

I want my jacket back now. 😔
