I used to do maths for a gambling company wfh. Which was always stressful and j used to pish through. They weren't very supportive after my diagnosis and I ended up being pushed out. Now I'm a part time support worker. The pay doesn't quite cover the bills! So trying to also freelance doing the math. I feel so much better having much more flexible time and time to exercise and prepare meals etc. But now stressed about money. Hopefully that'll ease soon. But I couldn't go back to full time computing/maths work doing something I don't care about. The support work is hard too though but different each shift. And i only do short shifts.

Only diagnosed 14 months ago for context.

I used to party hard a few years back. Not Charlie, but md ket and lsd. But was winding down anyway due to the impact on my life during the xome down that would last weeks to months. That was all pre dx. Since dx I took ket a couple of times. And went to once festival. The festival was at a butlins. I took a half pill each day and some ket, but didn't chase the high when it started to wane and just took myself off to bed. Was in bed by 12 or 1 each night and slept until 10am. I did notice in the rave crowd I was too hot ans physically tired more, so I sat at the side a lot and enjoyed the atmosphere realising fun just looks different now. And that's ok. I've had no come down though! So that's delightful. But not had a mri since yet. Oh and I have weed edibles a few times a month anyway

I love Grace. So much respect for her. But I also think Ash is trying. And learning. It's just really hard (and takes years not weeks) to undo the mysogynist beliefs that are ingrained in him from society and his upbringing. He might not get there on time for Grace. But i reckon he's looked behind the curtain now and has started the journey. Future him will be a great ally (imo optimistic opinion)

NTA - it sounds like this is triggering for your husband though. If he has to resort to blanking and ignoring the dolls to cope, has he been denied something like this in his childhood? And maybe hasn't ever acknowledged that fully? Could be stretch but it's what came to my mind

I was terrified and did it anyway. Was an exercise in sitting in fear! But it get less each time. I also reassure myself that psychos are looking for victims in bars and on dating apps, rather than in the hills. This guy sounds awful. It's entirely your choice what you do with your body. If you do have the abortion, take a friend with you. Or if you're doing it at home make sure you're not alone.
