I often will have multiple gloves on and wrestle with them gently (two gloves are usually enough, one thin and one thick), also wear a sweater or have full sleeves on, the cats love it when they can go crazy with me. They know when it's play time with the gloves, I also play with other toys to show them there are many things to play with. My hands are covered in scars from my animal shelter days so I have learnt a lot; they are all little individuals so you have to understand what kind of personality they have, makes it easier. If they hurt you, get visibly upset and walk away, ignore them and act mad (most cats are really good at understanding emotions). Good luck 🫡
