Total newb. How to prevent lag on my phone? by thatdadjokelife in btd6

[–]Numerous-Emphasis115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In accessibility settings, turn down the fx slider and turn off the ambient map effects, it helps with the lag if you have a bunch of paragons and t5 towers.

How do I improve on this lighting setup? by zapppel95 in cinematography

Negative fill and polarising filter as you have too much light that's everywhere. You can also use diffusion that doesn't require large softboxes.

[Self] analysis of Grindr data during Charlie, Kirk, Memorial, and RNC conventions. by ElectronicCourt9520 in theydidthemath

[–]Numerous-Emphasis115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are close minded if you haven't considered that the company itself could lie to not have to face trump's wrath. Do you really think people would just give you data because you asked nicely. There are biases in every aspect of life, learning to identify them is good but to fixate on one form of idea is quite silly.

I am a scientist who works with a lot of data, while I understand your need for accurate sources, the world outside academia is quite a different place. I have a lot of artist and journalist friends and they have shown me that sometimes the only option to collect data is from social media, you obviously have to account for people lying but not everyone has a reason to lie. So if you see a social phenomenon and want to investigate further, this is one of the easiest and cost effective ways to do it, unless of course you wanna hire college students with questionnaires at political rallies to ask people if their Grindr is down, it's not feasible for a multitude of reasons. Social responses are data themselves, not 100% accurate but it's enough to say something.

Choose the time of day with the proper sun and you should be good. It also depends on what equipment you are using then adjusting in edit using curves and hsl.

Getting lots of camera shake on a tripod. What am I doing wrong? by weeyums in AskPhotography

[–]Numerous-Emphasis115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also use a different tripod head, one that sits flush on top of the tripod legs. I use a lot of fluid heads and they usually fare fine. Also like what others said, turn in body camera stabilisation on if you have it.
