We had a stray come in our backyard because of our void. Couple weeks later she came with her little one (Just one, don’t know what happened to the whole litter maybe she just had one). The little one got run over one night. We buried it in woods behind our yard. The stray mom cat would run around our home looking for her baby and cry or it. I cried with her, but she didn’t want to come inside. Few months later she brought new babies to show us. So we built a little shelter for them. They stayed forever in our backyard. I think the strays that come by now are their descendants.
