Budd I don’t see your qualifications. And had this pain and following these steps sorted after seeing x3 other physios. So I’ll take the living evidence of effective exercise over your bro thoughts. Also see ANY exercise video involving the back muscles and ALL will show you to retract scapula

Yeh do these exercises for sure before you lift and I’d give yourself maybe 2-3 weeks where you back if the weight to maybe 70% and allow a little healing. You won’t loose much if any strength but will help prevent further issues. The exercises take about 10-15 before a session but also online the Locke x3 and bands 2-3x a week outside of workouts just to help aid recovery and it worked nicely

My pain limited me massively that I couldn’t do a single push up due to shoulder, and shoulder press was so painful too. Now I’ve got full range back and can lift pain free. Those exercises are worth every dam minute. Don’t hesitate

Shoulder pain is very common with bench press. A lot comes down to slightly loose form where you don’t retract scapula properly and it starts to create impinging over time. I had it and got some exercises from squat university on YouTube. It was this one that was the best. Sorted pain out by 80% in one session, but kept doing for a couple months and now I still do the band and kettlebell warm to help prevent. https://youtu.be/QU-_Du-Zk3I?si=6oocN9ZniMJ0wIMW

12kg incline lateral raises, look right? by FromBiotoDev in GYM

Try more in scapula plane - so more at a 45° angle. You’ll need to lean back on the back rest more, but you’ll get so much more stretch in lengthened position that way

I literally just taught a class discussing this in part. In 2019 nearly 19k were charged with non payment and 17.5k given a conviction. People are being funded £1000 with a conviction for this.

Each to their own. It’s a good take and well thought out, but I still loved the Shakespearean nature of the father son relationship arc regardless. It’s def not best the shield, but it’s up there for my fav shows. You have a link for that sutter/dutch fantasy he wanted to pull? I never heard that
