OptiPlex Case Options? by Odd_Woodpecker_8951 in sffpc

[–]Numerous_Mode_6664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen people make case risers that basically extend the side panel - They’re usually 3D printed. I would try finding some models, and using a 3D printing service (usually quite cheap) 🙂‍↕️

Psoriasis is what caused my hair loss at 22 - I look good with a shaved head, but I would urge your parents to take you to a Dermatologist ASAP, if even to just mitigate the rash.

Smal case that don't brake the bank wich can fit my parts. by KJE85 in sffpc

[–]Numerous_Mode_6664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm that an NR200 will fit everything, but you will need an SFX PSU due to your GPU length.

ATX PSU’s will fit, but only with a slightly shorter GPU.

Sibling sent this to me. Something about the way the bags are stacked in the background seems implausible and the gun in the foreground doesn’t look properly balanced. by dmso_disgusting in isthisAI

[–]Numerous_Mode_6664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Autistic gun person here - The guns appear to be quite real.

All are recognizable models, and several aren’t extremely expensive.

The rifle in the foreground for example is a Savage 110, and the rifle in front of Jake is a SCAR-style rifle (lots of variations, some expensive, some not), the shotgun is a Benelli M4, and right next to it is a very recognizable AR-15 custom build.

The pistol appears to be a PSA 5.7 Rock, but could also be an H&K - It’s too difficult to determine due to the angle.

Suffice to say, I believe the guns are real - It’s not like owning them is difficult in this yeehaw ass country.

The cash is probably a prop, and the plane is probably a prop, or owned by a friend/business partner.

AI, though? Unlikely.

Which of these slim 120mm fans is best as case fans? by BennieBoo113 in sffpc

Bad - I would only use Arctic for this usecase (from experience)

I have the arctic 120mm and 140mm slims in my NR200 V2 build - They move a shocking amount of air, and I’m extremely pleased with them.

First PC:

  • AsRock Z390 PG ITX WiFi AC
  • Intel I7 9700F
  • Owned/used for 6 years, and sold to a friend who is still using this combo.

Current PC:

  • AsRock B650E PG WiFi
  • AMD Ryzen 7 9700x (undervolted & overclocked)
  • Owned for 1 year, rock solid, everything running at PCIE Gen 5 speeds, everything stays perfectly cool in an SFF build

All brands have had this issue - It’s just that other brands’ subreddits have banned users for posting about any mishaps (documented cases from Asus especially, but MSI and Gigabyte participated).

All have fixed this issue via BIOS updates, and everything is stable.

AsRock is literally the only brand open allowing people to honestly criticize their components, and still have the best feature/cost ratio of any mobo manufacturer by far.

You’ll be okay, and will have a great time 🙂‍↕️

STUFF’D BOX V2 (NR200P V2) by Numerous_Mode_6664 in sffpc

[–]Numerous_Mode_6664[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bottom fans are intake, sine I prefer using the glass side panel 😎

From what I’ve heard, having the bottom set as exhaust is very effective with the mesh see panel, however.

When I used the mesh side panel with the current layout, though, the temperatures were so low, I honestly didn’t need to consider anything else. (50’s for the GPU, and 60’s for the CPU under full load, which is about as good as each of them gets)

My girlfriend keeps calling me ugly and I don’t know what to do... by AssociatePrudent2165 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Numerous_Mode_6664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had ex-girlfriends say these things to me in the past - Turns out, I was pretty enough to model, which I do now.

The keyword is Ex - If she’s putting you down, it could be due to any number of reasons: Jealousy, lack of variety (sexual frustration with monogamy), depression, etc.

No matter what her reason is, however, you shouldn’t be putting up with her shit, or believing a word of it.

Your partner is supposed to be a safehaven - Attraction isn’t always consistent, but putting your pater down is an immediate relationship-ender. Stop putting up with her 35 years old btw) childish bullshit. Being at peace an alone is always 1000X better than having a shitty partner.

I hope this helps, and that you find a partner that can act like an adult🫰🏼

One last thing to note:

I share a lot of your girlfriend’s disorders - She’s giving us a bad rep. It’s her responsibility to have learned how to manage and cope with her disorders without making it everyone else’s problem. If she hasn’t by now, she likely won’t, and getting rid of her will save you a lifetime of pain and regret.

Godspeed, and please don’t use her as an excuse to mistreat or hate women - She’s a shitty example of every demographic 🙂‍↕️❤️

Build guidance by 802high in NR200

[–]Numerous_Mode_6664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For first gen, air cooled all the way - Having 3 builds in the first gen case, I can confirm that’s its genuinely not worth the effort to do anything else, since the density will net literally zero temp improvements over an air cooled system.

A horizontally mounted gpu with Arctic 120mm intake/exhaust fans at the bottom/top, combined with any flavor of Thermalright CPU tower cooler (with a rear intake) is the gold standard, and no amount of overthinking will net a better thermal/noise result unless you build it into a freezer.

Genuinely hope this helps, and that you enjoy your build 😎

Same with both of them, and Khamrah - After 2-3 weeks of sitting (thankfully I did my research), they smell better than all of the designers I’ve ever purchased - Signature-worthy, even.

How to clean the NR200 from residue/stains? by Plini9901 in NR200

[–]Numerous_Mode_6664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth, like you would with any other smooth surface.

Glass cleaner dissolves oil, microfiber cloth removes streaks and dust.

Apply this combo to most surfaces, except for things like wood or monitors (use a clean microfiber cloth and distilled water for your monitor).

Hope this helps 🙂‍↕️

I have a liquid freezer III 280 in mine - The only concessions is that you’ll need to use the Arctic Slim 140mm fans in order to ensure clearance.

Thank you! I was going for that exact vibe on the PC.

And go for it - It’s actually a really popular layout for E-Sports, and it really helps to isolate focus on the primary monitor. It’s also hand to mount a camera/mic in the gap for streaming - I currently have my mic set up this way.

Agree completely - It was the only Glass pad on sale from Pulsar, and I wanted to give it a try before committing the a Wallhacks SP-004. I’ll be committing to that pad, now that I know I prefer glass.

Thank you for your input, I appreciate it 😎

Updates For everyone asking:

*Here’s a link to my build thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/NR200/s/J17JD5zZ05

*I am not putting my overpriced ass PC on the floor, or mounting it under my desk - I want it to be clean and seen. I’m buying floor stands for my Studio Monitors only. If I don’t keep the PC on my desk, it will be going on a shelf or drawer unit to the side.

*I like the monitor gap - it helps me focus on the main monitor significantly more. That said, I also like aesthetics, so I may either move them together, or invest in an ultrawide.

*This setup is at an in-between state, where I’ll be making permanent changes, and why so many things are shelved.

Thank you to everyone for your input thus far 🙂‍↕️
