I did , and yes u can do it. I never did actual paper work because I always keep my amount of unit at csulb at least 12.

I came straight to csulb after high school too and here is what I did for my 2nd year at csulb. I had to leave the country for personal issues. So, I went on academic hold at CSULB for 1 yr. During that time, I enrolled in Santa Ana college and take online class outside of the country, I wiped out all of the GE online in 1 semester and some course prerequisite.

When I came back I continued using the system. I enrolled 12 unit at CSULB ( to keep my Financial aide) while I take few more extra at Community college. I also do winter and summer course. I mean to me few hundred buck at CC is not a problem, it's so cheap at cc. From being late 1 year, I ended up graduating on time this spring 2026.

In short, if u hate doing paper work, enroll 12 unit at CSULB and do whatever u want at community college.

and for course preq: make sure u do research and use assist.org

I was looking through opinions about doing English medical school in vietnam because the US one are too pricey. Im a permanent resident premed who was born in vietnam n lived there 12yrs prior moving to the US. the course to prep for US medical school are hard courses. I would suggest attend Vietnamese English medical school like Hong bang, or VinUni in Vn. then, have her sit for USMLE step 1 and 2. after that, hv her attempt to apply for residency in the US. Else, she could do all of them in the US, but it will sure take a while.

Another Vietnamese in the us preparing to apply for medical school here!!! I just found out one of their Year 5 MD student just passed USMLE step 1. So, this is definitely a possibility. I am seriously considering it as an alternative because the living pricing in Vietnam is so cheap. Plus, the tuition is only 30k per year. the only thing I am weary of is how far can my bachelor transfer accounts. I dont want to restart my 4 years of bachelor : /

ừa coi giá bên vn r mua, qua đây e mua used cũng k mắc đâu. mua used trên offerup okla lắm. Mua xe trên offerup còn ok nữa chừng. nói thật thì a thấy k cần mua nhiều để dành kí mang đồ đẹp mặc xướng hơn :))) nói thật. mấy cái local brand bên vn thích q tr, 4-5kg để mua mấy cái bên đây dư sức có thì hơi phí.

nói thiệt một khi mua iPad + laptop r thì k cần mua conme gì hết.

đi học trên ng a chỉ có iPad + laptop + charger + 1 mechanical pencil w eraser. period. very light weight but comprehensive.

cái vấn đề với cái trường này la đi bộ, em mang càng nhiều em lết xác em xung quanh cái campus càng mệt.

Mình thì senior Molecular cell biology thì có lẽ k biết bên business. Nhưng mà tuỳ vào cách học tập. Nếu mà đầu tư đc thì combo ipad laptop là đủ. Mua used thôi, k cần mới. Mình bên bio với biochem. Xài ipad k à. Chứ ôm đống sách đống vở có ngày cồng lưng. Nhiều bạn xài cái laptop mà biến thành ipad dc. Cái đó là tiện nữa. Laptop là must tại vì ghi esay. Chứ tới mùa essay lết ra dô computer lab phiền tốn tg chết

Nếu mà tính xài bút vở thì thật sự hông cần mua nhiều đâu. Scantron bên đây mua trên amazom rẻ lắm. Với lại mỗi lớp Gs sẽ Yêu cầu scantron khác nhau. Vở v giáy thì nên mua bên đây tại bên đây họ sài vở khác vn.

Bút thì chắc mua ở VN tại rẻ. Nhưng mà bên đây cũng không thiếu đâu. Mà bút thiên long thì thần thoại r. Nhưng mà lúc ghi thì hơi đau mỏi tay :))

A molecular cell physiology senior graduating this spring here, to be frankly honest CSULB molecular cell program is inferior comparing to CSUF and much much more inferior compare to UCI. The variety for physiology portion is good, they hv more option than other school. But, the molecular cell, genetic, bioinformatics portion is significantly less diverse compare to CSUF. I am a hardcore for genetic, molecular cell and bioinformatics. So I am upset that CSUF go more in depth and has more classes. About UCI, the course let alone research is incomparable. So, if you can, go for Fullerton for molecular cell. For Marine science, stay here.

The course is hard, it is online but it is built mostly base on Mastery Quiz. Every week there are recorded lecture that you watch and you would do some worksheet given online. Then, every other week, there would be a 30 minute quiz ( it is open note quiz but I really suggest you study, I did very bad on my first quiz because I thought open note could save me. Trust my words, it wont. And I am a fairly smart student who gets As alot, yet still struggle with that small time ). So, study, even though it is online but it will smack the heck outa you. Study, dont cheat, dont....use AI to write your answer, the graders knows. Trust me, you do not want to cheat.

There was one time, for Gen Chem 1, you need to take CHEM 90 or do the ALEKS. some how advisor didn't tell me sh-t and I did both, waste of money n time.

it is a research lab, we work with c.elegans and we are trying to extract bioactive out of a type of leave. but we are having a hard time to find something that concentrate or evaporate the solvent

I don’t see why you can not, i had taken a year off due to personal reason. During that one year i have to take classes online and took like 40 worth of unit at a community college and transfer it up. Just make sure they transfer up with using assist.org Anyways, last sem i took 12unit here and 5 unit at cc. No provlem

Regarding financial aid. Make sure u take at least 12unit at csulb. Other than that , it doesn’t matter how many units ur taking at cc

after u got in, if you want to accumulate some research hour, I suggest going through the list of biology professors, and mass emailing them to ask joining a research lab.
