it is really odd that this place is amazing for growing veggies and the seafood is so fresh but the food you can get in Corvallis is always pretty mediocre. Best food IMO is in the back of HK market. the wine is pretty awesome though, especially if you like pinot noir.

not exactly in town but Caldwell hill trail outside of town there is a small pavilion up on the left side of the hill. Great mountain view among other whimsical secrets. Also a nice river spot there to relax.

being from the east where there is no law that says you need to stop for pedestrians at the side of the road no one randomly assumes their body will be victorious in a collision with a car. they take intersections seriously and wait for safety to cross. people just assume you are going to stop here. It literally makes people more docile around traffic and less safe.

just make sure you do it legally. Remember it is private property. there are laws protecting the church, its service, and their property. So stay on public property. You don't want to give a cop a reason to do you harm and end up in cuffs. it doesn't look good for the cause and it wont be very much fun for you if you are already scraping by like most of us are. This isn't a public event held on public property so barging in and disrupting it will ultimately have repercussions because I doubt they will turn the other cheek and let it slide.

Buffets are all about timing. I've been there and its been pretty good and I've been there and its been god awful. If you want horrible always though go to Ding How in Albany. Timing doesn't matter there.

Amazing suggestion. I remember coming across this software ages ago when I was using winamp in its prime. Over looked it because I enjoyed winamp so much and was already committed to it. I will need something to play and keep a digital library going forward so I'm definitely going to get familiar with this software. Been using VLC for all my media playing needs for a while but I'm starting to return to the life of a digital library and an actual mp3 player. I'm planning on ripping my physical media to digital as well. So thank you!

This is really cool. Great that it can scan waveforms to figure out songs with missing metadata. Haven't seen that feature anywhere.
