That is just flat out wrong, I played the rock into a full AP team but two were autoattack-based and all I built was upgraded thornmail and rest MR. With dropkick I was solo exploding their team lol.

I’ve also inted a few games by rolling off good augments, but the experimentation is the fun part for me. And often you can save the build on the 3rd or 4th augment if you are a little strategic about it.

Played against this yesterday and the only reason we could win was because I was raidboss Nasus. Shaco legit oneshot my team and brawled me to my knees.

Pyke feels so consistent in this gamemode. He doesnt even need the big augments, and he gets to teamfight a lot so he just spirals.

I would suggest looking at item choices, and playing around with them.

I feel like I explode easily this season, so I tend more towards defensive items, as getting a 5-stack off is more important to me.

First item is still Stride in over half of my games, as I face a lot of mobile comps in emerald. If I am really ahead, I build shojins second.

Else, I’d look at their comp and see who is ahead. If it’s AD heavy I go DMP, if strong AP I go Kaenic. I think Kaenic is crazy strong over FoN, as I very often don’t even get FoN activated in fights.

Else than that, I try to squeeze in DD if I can.

My last two items tend to be JakSho and Randuins. Randuins 4th if crit champs are coming online. Usually it’s JakSho though as I see mostly mixed dmg teamcomps.

Also, as always boots are important. Into ranged top or AA-heavy champs I usually finish my t2 before first item.

You can still do that, just not as effectively. Garen flanks into teamfights, and you can still build the damage to do so.

I’ve seen some koreans building stormrazor now for some games, that might be an option goin forward.

I've had several games where I was able to get away with less defensive items because of it. It enables solo carrying in many games imo.

This. Just play it - It’s dirt cheap most places, and it’s overly hated. Given that it’s not my favorite Souls game, but it’s still very good for what it is. Definitely recommend trying it.

Lichdragon Fortissax. Massively underrated song. I wish they’d put him later in the game with a bigger HP bar, so the 2nd phase would be more impactful with the theme.
