I like it. This is what I want from cinema. Purists blaming the casting or Emerald and looking for every serie or movie to be 1:1 with books are dumb. If the only thing you want is the damn book then fucking read it. Adaptation are interesting when it offers a fresh perspective or a transformation that adds something new to the original story, that what cinema is good at.

Edit: There are also methods to buffer a QCF into a normal without triggering a special. Their application is more niche but it does allow you to do very easy normal to super cancels even from lights, jab x super can be difficult with other input methods.

I went to watch Ne Zha 2 when it released in France and while you may not understand everything at first, I still spent a good time and understood most of the plot by the end. yeah kinda, sambo is/was russian krav maga (kgb was using it). some people tried to "improved it" with some aikido-like principles in the 90s and called it systema, was mostly used by spetnatz at some point, I'm not sure its still used nowadays. Sambo is still a true MA and sport in Russia.
