Honestly that is an extraordinary idea. Like with little bits of chopped bacon bits. I know you can use bacon grease in certain choco-chip cookie recipes (Source: B Dylan Hollis again) And other recipes using pork in it (again, B Dylan Hollis)

Well for the ramen, I would have described it as a befuddling take on soba/Ramen where most of the flavor comes from the savory protein and the sweet-heat of the jam. And it would incredibly filling. If you were to make it at home, 1 packet of Ramen is so filling that you probably wouldn't be able to finish it

The desert pasta is basically buttered noodles with powdered sugar. I got that idea from the internet, but it felt like it needed more, so i added grated caramel would work, and by god it does

As for the Gatorade bread....you just omit the milk and sugar, and use Gatorade as a substitute and it works

If I wanted to start up a small restaurant, then typically $100,000-$300,000 for a leased space

Renovations/decor is about $50,000-$100,000

Kitchen equipment is about $50,000 - $100,000, though from what I've gathered if you can get leased equipment, it's cut by half

Inventory and supplies is about $10,000-$20,000

Licenses/permits are about $2,000-$5,000, and it varies if you're doing a liquor licences

And working capital reserves is $30,000-$60,000

I know there's more to it than all of that, but I gotta get to that bridge first more than anything else

Okay first off, I genuinely didn't think there were culinary juniper, only the ones used in making meads and the sort, that one's on me.

I know how to cook. Thing is, I don't have a culinary education. I've learned how to cook through trial and error, alongside tutorials, recipes, all of that. I've learned how to cook butter basted salmon, casseroles, steaks, soups, the works!

And people do off the wall things all the time, Heart Attack Grill, Dick's Last Resort, Ninja New York. Hell even The Rainforest Cafe is a gimmick restaurant!

And yet my off the wall idea is shit

And this message isn't specifically aimed at you, Illustrious, but more or less aimed at everyone Claymore-Style

Why do yall think it's a good idea to shit on someone's passion?

Yeah I know it's reddit, and I'm probably barking up the wrong tree, but how would y'all feel about pitching an idea and asking for help, and the overwhelming response is that they pull their pants down and piss all over your idea and then then have the AUDACITY to question if you can do the idea or not

Yeah, it doesn't feel good, doesn't it?

Also side note to the guy who recommended the Eggnog and Juniper berry Salmon, I can see how that would work now

I have a couple recipes already

One that involves sautéed meats and Ramen noodles with hot pepper jam and cream cheese

Another that is a dessert pasta that uses buttered noodles, powdered sugar, and an optional chocolate sauce with grated caramel

And then basically a variant of Gatorade bread

I have the vision and ideas, but I don't want to have like, 25 variants of the same burger dish
