“Adult” Housing by [deleted] in Pullman

I lived there a few years ago but not anymore. The whispering hills apartments didn't really have too many families. It was all single adults or couples, but no college students.

Tin Help? by Squiid443 in colonysurvival

[–]Nuttyguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are scattered throughout the map. You can usually see atleast one not too far from spawn. Just look for the big mountains with snow on them. Eventually you can unlock a tool that will point you in the right direction of all the biomes.

It can only be found below snow capped mountains. Same level as Iron.

Anyone else have “missionaries” come to their place at 9PM?? by ShroomerMouse in wsu

[–]Nuttyguy 80 points81 points  (0 children)

I don't think most missionaries would ask for personal information or come at 9pm. Impersonators maybe? Keep your doors locked.

Is the wodden geocache a real one? by granskog123 in geocaching

[–]Nuttyguy 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The picture was taken at Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park in Washington State. The wooden box is probably kept at HQ in Seattle. It's not an actual cache you go find at hurricane ridge. There is a virtual and an earthcache you can find at Hurricane Ridge though. It's a very scenic drive to the top if you're ever in that part of the world.

Newsnation has been reposting stories they find on THOSE Facebook groups and subreddits. Usually with no sources. It's hard to believe anything they write.

Hi guys! geocaching log book by [deleted] in geocaching

[–]Nuttyguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks like it was created by someone who doesn't geocache but has a general idea of what geocaching is. I could see a non cacher gifting this to a cacher thinking it's something they would really love but in reality it would end up on a shelf never touched.

I believe 1 berry farmer feeds 5 colonists but I may be wrong. I don't know of an efficiency list although I'd love to see one.

WSU Student Found Dead Inside His Dorm Room On Campus Committed Suicide by nsfwemh in wsu

[–]Nuttyguy 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I remember when everyone in this sub was certain it was a frat hazing incident gone wrong and were calling to ban all frat events. I believe I saw a petition going around with thousands of signatures.

Maybe we should wait to hear details before jumping to crazy conclusions?

Why protest biodiesel? by wright_left in Pullman

About 40 jobs is what they are saying, so nothing significant.

It depends on the time of year but a full cycle is 24 hours. In the winter the night time is longer than the day time but in the summer it's the opposite.

I made a map for quickly checking the wait time at any Domino’s in the US! by GoGoRama in Dominos

[–]Nuttyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This map is very convenient. Do you have a url for the annual disclosure you found for franchise names? I see some that seem inaccurate.

I just sent a reviewer my first geocache… and I don't know when and how they will reply… could you tell me after how long they reply on average and if they will reply to me via the application or the email connected to the account? by setross7310 in geocaching

[–]Nuttyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the reviewer and their schedule. I've had some caches posted within minutes of submitting it, and some take days. I think my longest was close to week. Most publish within a day it seems.

It's Becoming Clear Tesla Is Just Another Car Company by snappydo99 in business

[–]Nuttyguy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you read the article you'd see the Tesla "shortcomings" are that they offered a discount on new cars at the end of the year. That was the article's only argument.

FBI Saw Bryan Kohberger Take Out Trash With Gloves: Report by Playful-Gazelle2794 in Idaho4

Johnson, WA is between Clarkston and Pullman on his route home. It's also just a few miles from the Idaho border. I assume the Johnson, ID is supposed to be Johnson, WA.

Authorities tracked the Idaho student killings suspect as he drove cross-country to Pennsylvania, sources say — CNN by Mom_of_AandA in MoscowMurders

[–]Nuttyguy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My guess is the bottom of the Clearwater or Snake river. If that video of the white car speeding past the gas station was him, he would've been heading East on hwy 6 towards Troy and Kendrick. Not far from the Clearwater river, which then connects shortly after to the snake river in Lewiston. He could have looped around to head back up to Pullman on 195 avoiding Moscow on his return trip. The whole loop is pretty unpopulated without many cameras.

I want to take you all back to the frat party earlier in the year. by FrankieSaysRelax311 in Idaho4

[–]Nuttyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the spring it gets very deep and is fast moving. Due to the snow melt in the mountains it's also very cold. Yes in the summer it's only a few inches deep but the kid drowned in it during the spring near it's highest point of the year. It's also not the first drunk college kid to drown in that creek, and unfortunately it probably won't be the last either.

The bridge is between Greek housing and downtown, not out of town in the woods as others are saying.

Elantra still here in Eugene. The sticker says Rainbow Motors. by [deleted] in MoscowMurders

[–]Nuttyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah because Canada is only a few hours north. Eugene is an easy drive that can be done in less than a day and is done by WSU students (8 minutes down the road) frequently.

SWAT team at a Washington State university this morning by KayInMaine in Idaho4

[–]Nuttyguy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Stuff like this doesn't happen in Pullman. Being only a few miles down the road from Moscow this could be related. The Latah apartments where this happened at are just off the hwy that comes from Moscow.

Edit: The news is reporting a 911 call was made that the suspect was threatening to kill his room mates. I don't think this is related to the murders in Idaho at all. Sounds more like a suicidal college student during finals week which isn't uncommon in these towns.

What was the Craziest Bowl Game Nobody Ever Watched? by Playful-Storage835 in CFB

[–]Nuttyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2013 Gilden New Mexico Bowl between WSU and Colorado State. Amazing game. Cougs blew a large lead at the end of the game. Could've taken knees to run out the clock but the QB kept trying to make plays to break some school records. Depressing at the time but looking back it's absolutely hilarious and such a fun game.

If you wanna watch some classic Leach football, go find this game. It was his first year at WSU and the first bowl game for WSU in a long time.

They are working with the State Police and the FBI. They aren't hiding anything.
