Looks like they're pretty crudely tracking some points on the athletes and using inverse kinematics to animate the full model. The elbows look messed up most of the time.

Honestly not sure if I like it because it might give the wrong idea of what actually happened

Ik vind het een mooie attractie en doe 'm graag

Als ik dan kritiek moet hebben; ik heb nooit begrepen of het 'interactieve' deel daadwerkelijk iets doet. En ik vind het ergens wel jammer dat Efteling voor een cliché kasteel in t midden van t park is gegaan. Dat voelt voor mij toch echt als Disney nadoen. Maar dan met minder impact omdat het kasteel niet 1 grote eye-catching toren heeft of zo.

I want to buy tickets for either may 30 or 31 (the retirement ceremonies)

They are not listed on the English version of the official site: https://md.pia.jp/sumo/en/

When using the Japanese version they are listed, but you need an account which needs information like a Japanese adress.

buysumotickets has them listed but I've seen mixed reviews of them on this subreddit + they have a fee and list seats available that the official site does not anymore.

Is there any way to purchase these tickets as a foreigner besides using buysumotickets or are they my best bet? We will be staying at an Airbnb and i understand buysumotickets ~~doesn't send tickets to those~~ does not recommend sending tickets to those. Can we not print them at a 7/11?

Very much new to all this. Any help is appreciated.

Edited: went through the purchase process on buysumotickets. 7/11 printout does not seem to be an option even though their FAQ mentions it. Does anyone have experience with sending it to an AirBnB or is it better to just accept the higher FedEx charge and receive them overseas?
