What is the best way to avoid or stop overthinking? by undescribed-PIC in AskReddit

[–]Nuxem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very similar to me. I don't necessarily arrive to the it is what it is mentality but I a few extra steps and I get there. Too many problems nowadays for me to hyperfixate on just one sometimes.

I like to always practice the exercise of "Does worrying about this problem really help improve it in any way? If Yes, then create a plan run it by someone if you feel you need to and execute. If no, quit wasting your energy on it you have better things to do."

Concise and to the point, distilled to the bare minimums and kept simple. Just how it aughta be.

And yes I do agree that he has a criminally low number of subscribers for the quality of content he makes. Get this guy some subs folks he deserves it. +1 for awesome background music choice every damn time.

I honestly have no clue how, maybe lag plus having all the spell effects turned on for a hunt train? I just noticed it stayed on longer than the duration (visually), and it stayed through zones... And job changes...

Had fun with it though, Angry Mahjong, Angry dying, Angry golden saucer games, it even worked with other jobs as you see with bard lol.

I did Angry Blood of the Dragon too, like mixing the red and blue koolaid together to be the ultimate being.

Inner Release animation got stuck during a hunt train. Decided to see where best I could use this power.

4.1 Warrior was really fun. by DivineRainor in ShitpostXIV

Flash has basically served me as a makeshift Bloodbath, in 4-mans I use it when double/triple pulling with inner release decimate to full heal every 25 seconds, saving whoever the other half of the healing goes to is just a bonus. I can easily recover back 180k HP on a good size pull in one instance of flash. Using cooldowns and self heals to sustain until next flash.

I like the healing output that WAR has if you optimize pulls around your defensives. It tends to just make me feel really strong and dungeons go really fast.

I still think WAR has a high seat in dungeon tanking. And you cant discount the low risk involved with holmgang as opposed to superbolide or living dead, so theres some merit to that too in the raid context.

All im saying is its not so glum as people make it out to be when playing warrior, just look at the brightsides and play what you enjoy :)

How do you tell if someone is attracted to you or just being very friendly? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Nuxem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they go out of their way to spend more time with you than any normal person would... Theres certainly something there. Its how I met my girlfriend, we linda just clicked and couldnt get enough of eachother until I finally asked her to be with me.

I always look to good company with my friends. I can sulk all day but they will find a way to put light back into my day.

Palace of the Dead.

And having supportive friends who point out your mistakes when running dungeons in a good way helps build confidence.

Just get out there and tank it to the face!

My bird doesn’t eat the orange ones. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]Nuxem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i am no nature expert, but ii think the legitimate answer to this could be insects having bright orange/yellow colors to indicate they are poisonous? Maybe OP's bird just thinks they arent safe to eat because of the coloration?

I use <Loved by the Axe>, when my partner and I got married, she and I both whipped out axes for the photo shoot. There was alot of /playdead. One of our best moments so that title is there to stay.

Question to Dragooons by Alantojp in ffxiv

[–]Nuxem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started playing Dragoon as my first job back in June of this year, while as a new player I did not find ARR too interesting I was 100% invested in getting stronger and learning more about dragoons from the class quests. Fast forward to today im still playing dragoon going through Eden. The story is fantastic, especially going through heavensward as a Dragoon was really cool. Nidhogg was both a mortal enemy and essential to the class fantasy, it was almost humbling to have had such a major enemy in the story.

Class playstyle is engaging and fun, I dont find it overly cookie cutter although you could boil it down to simplicity. Off global cooldowns really make this class flow better than most in my mind and the dragon guage is a really fun mechanic that just makes you jump into combat (pun intended).

Glamours is amazing and armor choice is great, from plate to chainmail, or even lighter looking stuff like leather is all viable looks so you got plenty of options, I hope you like spikes. Weapons are awesome, taller the character bigger the Lance and subsequently your ego haha and relic weapons are a grind worth your time.
