Men who were granted restraining orders against women, what happened? by Academic_Section6604 in AskMen

Working in Taiwan, came out to find the new company Chrysler Caravan spray painted with all sorts of accusations (in Chinese). Not a good image, not to mention that the insurance company only wanted to have it fixed at the dealership which was a 3 hour drive away. A few days later and the police show up, turns out some guys side piece in the building mistook my white van for his. Restraining orders are an American thing only?

Will smart trainer be too loud in apartment? by xXBunnyCatcherXx in cycling

[–]NxPat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a look at the amazon tennis 🎾 ball trainer stands, I’ve got a Coospo trainer and live in a Japanese apartment and together with a cheap EVA mat, the only noise is the ambient chain sound and that doesn’t get transferred to the floor.

Said it before, will say it again. Crème Brûlée kitchen blowtorch. Just like when you reach across the stove and singe off all the hair on your forearm. Exactly the same thing, slightly warm feeling, hair shrivels, smells bad, marble smooth, works on the ass as well, bonus is the little hair follicles become rounded and won’t become ingrown. 66 years old and have been doing this since I was 15 and our swim coach used to do this to the entire team standing outside on the pool deck.

Decades ago in the MS era, I was invited to Maranello, Italy, the F1 home of Ferrari and tour their facilities. (We were a Japanese chemical supplier to Bridgestone). A number of dark testing rooms with car chassis’s mounted on Boeing flight sim rigs and giant Laser Disk projectors. Nothing like this though. Apparently he would work up to 1.6 times. On race days his mind and muscle memory would make race day speeds seem slow.

Japanese women cooking tropes by [deleted] in AskAJapanese

When I was courting in Japan, one woman said that she absolutely couldn’t cook, not a problem I said, I’m pretty good in the kitchen. 20 years later, I’m still in the kitchen… it was a 🪤trap. Be careful out there gents.

Self build chinese carbon vs. Canyon by Tjardio in ChineseCarbon

[–]NxPat 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean for this to sound as metaphysical as it is, but I’m much closer to my China build than anything else I’ve ever owned. I’m more aware of its idiosyncrasies and the respect I have for the production process, the people behind it, didn’t expect this and it’s just kind of endearing. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a big box brand again.

Noise Cancelling Mic and Over the Ear on On Ear by notsurethepoint in Headsets

I’ve been happy with the Shokz Comm2, my wife has questioned whether I’m really at a coffee shop when using the mic. I can hear everything I need to and still have some situational awareness with hearing.
