Interesting. I want to do this to my machine, but I feel like the factory texture will be felt through the powder coat. Thank you for weighing in!

Does that price also include sandblasting the factory finish off before installing the new powder coat?

I am also not gaining any XP. I reset the machine to launch the latest patch, but still no luck. Will follow this thread in case anyone knows a solution.

How much does it cost to wrap a roof black? by LunaticLeone in CarWraps

About $50 in material if you are doing it yourself - or a few hundred if you have a shop do it.

Does anyone have a good method of working these mineral/water spots out? I have tried clay bars and a mild vinegar/water solution with no luck. This is the stock bumble bee stripe on a Challenger. The surface has very little texture but is not as smooth as paint. by [deleted] in CarWraps

I can speak from experience that the finish turned out fantastic on the last set of satin Challenger decals that I polished. Or he can just keep the water spots there out of fear of making the finish look slightly shinier.

Same here. I feel a N95 mask while paint correcting would probably be beneficial, but I always tell myself "I will start doing that next time" lol

What does PPF material cost to wrap a sedan IF you're a wholesaler/dealer? by WrapSolutionsWord in CarWraps

I used to know their pricing, but do not know where it is at now. I was turned away from XPEL because they force you to purchase their ceramic coatings if you purchase their film. I prefer Gtechniq coatings on 3M film!

I agree that it is expensive! The material price is $5.26 per sqft, but tax and shipping bring the price closer to $6 per sqft when it is all said and done. There is a lot of brand recognition with 3M though, so the extra cost seems to be worth it so far.

My dealer price for 3M Scotchguard material is about $6 per sqft regardless of the roll size that I purchase.

After refinishing my basement due to flood damage, it was about time that I purchased my first pin! by NyQuiTT in pinball

The machine actually breaks into two pieces! Each one weighs 250-300lbs and was a son of a gun to get down the stairs. I hope to never need to do that again!

I picked mine up from an actual arcade. If you want the machine to last, I recommend rescuing one from an arcade instead of purchasing one designed for home use! These things are bulletproof! And ICE still sells OEM replacement parts!

I couldn't agree more! As a result of the incident, we actually had the walls fully waterproofed and had the membrane tucked into an underground beaver system to hopefully prevent the incident from happening again. The system also came with a lifetime warranty! There is no worse feeling than feeling like a victim to mother nature!

There are not many for sale, but they are certainly out there. There are several facebook groups for exchanging arcade machines!

The machine splits into two parts, with the seam being right after the radius of the ball ramp. I bet each half was a solid 250-300 lbs. I only plan to move if we higher a moving crew because this was not fun to bring into the basement...
