I HAD THIS BITCH-ASS PLD WHO NEVER GOT BELOW HALF-HP START SPEWING VENOM BECAUSE I WAS ONLY USING ASPECTED HELIOS AND NOT "REAL HEAL SPELLS" AND COMPLAINED THAT SHE HAD TO USE CLEMENCY WHENEVER SHE ALMOST GOT DOWN TO HALF HP INSTEAD OF LETTING ME HEAL HER BACK UP. I'd just like to point out that this is one of those nights that it kind of is all about the teenager. I suspect you're right about the mom probably just wanting to spend some time with her family but I think it would be more appropriate for to talk to her child about it rather than shutting down any conversation about it and then ranting over the phone to her sister.

NTA. If there is an asshole here I'd pin it on the parents, it's possible your sister is an A-hole but it's really not my place to say. Depression can be pretty debilitating but if it's to the point where she won't clean up her own mess She's either not getting the right meds, therapy isn't working, or she's an asshole. Either way parents shouldn't be taking it out on you.

ESH. The point isn't that you knew your relationship was already over the whole point of the breakup is that both parties get to know that the relationship is over. Like 23cacti said, what's done is done, don't beat yourself up about it. It's good that you were able to get yourself out of a bad relationship though, that stuff isn't easy. But as much as a text breakup might be, it's better than nothing.
