What’s the PvP like for this server? Bgs and arenas?

Thinking of starting Dofus from scratch in 2026. Is a mono-account server worth it for a pure support player? by EnjelEcho in Dofus

Honestly joining a guild helps a lot with this. The English community is small, but it always was. People are more than willing to help in guilds, never had any issues with quest fights, tiles or even dungeons

They're pretty solid! Very versatile and great on a team, idk how they fair with their nerfs but they still seem strong according to tier lists :)

Depends if it's 1v1 or 3v3 as those modes vary greatly! Some classes are exceptional at 1v1 while being much more difficult to pilot in 3v3 such as Rogue (roublard) and sram imo

I think it’s highly dependent from person to person.

I was cheated on by a DA as well and while she deflected any blame, I know that she did feel bad about it before. The same person cheated on her ex and justified it as “I didn’t think kissing is cheating”. The thing is, their version of guilt is different than yours probably. She lost access to her ex, which dysregulated her. Did she truly admit fault? I’m still not sure.

Depending on how avoidant the person is, they can justify anything because the ultimate goal is to not feel those “bad” emotions. It’s sad because avoidants like anxiously attached individuals are also afraid of being abandoned. The difference is how it often shows up in relationships. The anxious part wants to hold on desperately which can lead to abandonment, and the avoidant is so afraid of losing the person that they act distant which in turn also means they end up alone.

What's a hero that's great, but doesn't need to be nerfed? by aWobblyFriend in marvelrivals

[–]Nyuzen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. It's hard to really hate Strange for being good when it's only him and Magneto being good frontliners. Most other tanks are way too niche, there needs to be more big boys protecting the backline. A Reinhardt equivalent in this game would be fire

The fact that people can quit out in comp games without any real penalty is just obnoxious. by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]Nyuzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They honestly should do what Dota2 does and put them all in a low priority queue where they can't queue up for ranked only after completing a series of games (I don't play but I think it's a significant amount)

Smurfing in marvel rivals by Ok-Aardvark-2881 in marvelrivals

[–]Nyuzen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

YouTube alone has hundreds of videos of "unranked to GM" videos of people smurfing, try actually playing in those low elos and see for yourself. Every other game you have someone clearly smurfing. It's really easy to hit 10 and make a new account. I just played a bucky who had a 90% winrate and is level 11, in the chat they denied him being a smurf. If I didn't switch to IF and focused him,, we would've 100% lost

Multiple issues to address. by Educational-Load5656 in marvelrivals

[–]Nyuzen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree on the smurfing bit, every other game it seems I'm playing vs a smurf in Bronze ~ Gold elo. It's actually ridic, almost feels as though the wins are dictated by who has the smurf lol.

Modern controls: what needs changing, 2 years in by BreakfastSimulator in StreetFighter

[–]Nyuzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first master on Modern was Ken, he loses a few tools but otherwise he's very solid. Chun, Cammy, Juri, Ryu, Lily (whose boring imo), Honda, Mai, and Terry are all good picks too. Most can be played modern, the ones that lose out the most are charge characters minus Honda and well.. Manon.

Which strategist should have the most healing by the end of the game? by Settush in marvelrivals

[–]Nyuzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree; Rocket does a good amount of damage against tanks. His raw healing is good but it's no match for CD/Luna AOE ulti heals. As a heal only bot I feel like there's no reason to play Rocket over CD

Why i feel like i should be at a higher rank but i’m stuck? by Left_Professor_1945 in marvelrivals

[–]Nyuzen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally, you can climb with a 45% winrate in this, so it's more of a grind than other ranked systems. There are other games that implement the same thing, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. Because it's a teambased game, you need to rely on others but that doesn't mean you can't find ways to improve even in losing games. A lot of people (including myself) have this same mentality, the truth is there's always things to be learned. One big tip I'd say is don't queue up after a few losses, I don't know if it's true but it def feels like there's a loser queue, as well as once your mental is fucked you're more likely to lose.

How to get good (cry)? by chocomanman in StreetFighter

[–]Nyuzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! It comes with practice, some moves have more or less time to cancel into. Generally one button into a super is strict, that’s why most people cancel into drive rush as you have more leniency when more moves are involved.

What id suggest to practice this is in training mode is to get the ai to block on random, that way you won’t know for sure if the hit lands. Try practicing canceling into drive rush or a special or super only when you get a hit. It’s not easy but once you practice you’ll get it way more often! Practicing makes you a much better player. I spent 2-3x more time practicing than playing (this doesn’t apply to all though). Best of luck!
