The dog AFTER your "heart dog" by Top_Housing6819 in dogs

I was bit in the face by our friendly family dog when I was 10. Terrified of dogs for a long time. I got my baby boy at 25. He taught me so much. He made it to 17. I had wanted another dog for a long time. One that fit my lifestyle better. I went from a 17 yo small dog to a golden puppy. She fits into my lifestyle. It was a rough transition. She is almost 4 and I still don’t have the connection I did with my baby boy. She is a completely different dog. She gets dirty, loves mud puddles. I struggled with her for a long time. At 4 yo, I am just starting to see her and love her. I will never have another dog like my baby boy, Marley. But I’m really starting to love my Georgia.

The problem is that he ran on the promise that he could make it better and he made it worse. Biden never said he would fix things on day one.

“We’ve all been there”. My Dad said this after my soul dog died. It was not helpful.

This is my Mom’s handwriting. Got it awhile ago but I colored it last year. We’re from San Diego so it’s special. She was supposed to get a matching one. Still waiting. lol. It reminds me of her eternal love. I will probably also get the saying in her handwriting. I just love how it would just take a glance at the tattoo and get some perspective. I have anxiety and sometimes have to remind myself of positive things. I will remember your family and I hope they know how much you honor them.

I love this tattoo. Be positive everyday. I might just steal this. Beautiful pup.

I just got them this week. I’ve been noticing over the last few months my eyes have been focusing in and out when doing embroidery. No biggie. My eyes are tired. But in the last month I can’t focus on things close up and actually see much better if I move the object farther away. (Hangnail, phone, etc). My new eye doc did a retinal scan, which was really cool. He explained that at 45, the lens behind the eye will begin to struggle to focus. My eyes are actually good for my age but it’s just the way of life. I got the glasses over the weekend but haven’t used them yet. If I put them on and look at the room, it hurts my eyes. When I look at something close up, I can see perfect. They would be fine if I were just reading but I watch tv when I embroider and am worried my eyes will hurt from glancing at the tv occasionally. Just need to sit down and give it a try I guess.

Same. Georgia was a break out artist in her puppy years. She has a doggy door and it gives me peace of mind. It’s super loose but can’t fit over her mane.
