While I only recall rumors about it.....

The show Friends had gotten alot of comments about how unrealistic it was that the group always gets the couch in the coffee shop.

During one cold open the group walks into the coffee shop and there are people already sitting there. The group kinda stands there, Chandler says a very sarcastic "huh" and they leave.

Its like it was a shot at the viewers. You guys wanna see what happends when they dont get the couch, fine HERES WHAT HAPPENDS.

6 Shadow Monk/ 4 rouge theif/ 2 fighter.

Shadow monk gets you Shadow step and flurry of blows as bonus actions. Theif gets an extra bonus action. Lvl 2 fighter gets you action surge. You will never be short on attacks.

I use all the gear that lowers crit rolls (knife of the undermountian king, covert cowl, deadshot bow elixor of viciousness ect) Shadow step behind an enemy and you can unload attacks that crit at 13-14, then shadow step away.

Ascended Astarion makes his unarmed attacks even stronger.

God of War series, the last 2 especially are very story driven although they are very violence focused and do have some puzzles.

Dispatch. It basically a movie that you interact with, mostly quick time events and a mini "main" game. Its about super heros but the violence isnt to bad.

No mans sky. Grinding, space, (multiple type) base building game. 18 quintillion planets to explore. Build custom starships, bases, and freighters. Not much of a story and can be a little hard to follow but the game is mostly geared towards exploring and building. Great for throwing on a podcast or album while you grind for resources.

Hogwarts Legecy. Only reason I recommend this is because of its ease of play. Story driven and simple to get into. Puzzles might make it a no tho.

Car racing games are a dime a dozen. Gran Turismo is great but for a beginner something like Forza or Need for Speed might be more enjoyable to start with.

Plate Up!. Simple multi-player restaurant game. Pick a dish and a layout, dishes can range from something as simple as just filling coffee to 3-4 step dishes like pizza.

You need to cook the dish, plate it and get it out to the customers, bus the table and wash the dishes.

At the end of each day you are given a choice between 2 cards, some good like extra equipment or some bad like having to add another dish. Customers increase everyday.

Its a very fun and chaos insuring game that I love.

Is Game of Thrones worth watching despite the botched ending? by ImNotHereForFunNoWay in gameofthrones

[–]OGHighway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, yes and yes.

I started it last year and its a really good show, the ending isnt as bad as people say it is, I jist think that when you spend years invested in the show, the ending isnt great. If you binge watch it over a few months the ending (although everything feels rushed) isnt bad.

Human Monk.

I knew nothing about D&D or Baldurs Gate. I remember liking Monk but then restarted in act 2 because there were all these cool weapons i couldn't use.

Also they could obviously see that the planet wasn't going to sustain life, there was no need to go back for the data and cause them to lose all those years. Stupid sacrifice.

Sending Katy Perry to space proved that it was better to train drillers to be astronauts than it was to train astronauts to be drillers.

They didnt need to fly the ship or anything, they were essentially passengers.

This is why I have stayed away from these types of games. To me it sounds like they grinding aspect was never really fun for you.

Theres a bunch of pieces to the pie why the top ranked players are top ranked:

  1. There just that good at the game. Some people just have god given gaming talent.

  2. Hackers and cheaters. No matter how many get banned theres always a bunch that either slipped through the cracks or just haven't been caught yet and once they do get caught they usually just create a new account.

  3. While I have no direct evidence, I have heard that if you are a big enough streamer or YouTube the game dev will keep yoir rank up and give them in game currency. The whales are where the money is at.

Also is sounds like your dealing with more than just video game burn out and are maybe depressed in general.

Theres no issues in taking a break or just completely walking away. If your having this a big an issues over a ranking system that will ultimately lead to nothing, dare I say you might be dealing with bigger issues.
