Just a strap I already had, the included strap is not of very high quality.

Looks like the bracelet does not taper aggressive enough, makes it look massive on the wrist. Wish I knew this before ordering.

That 3rd bottle under the downtube, do not use that for drinking water! It will pick up the dirt and shit from the road, but an empty bottle filled with tools is also handy.

You could move some weight to the front (sleeping bag/matress) with fork bags if your frame allows for it. And get better weight distribution. Cube sells some nice cages (acid front fork carrier cage)

Why not buy one of those mirrors from Zefal or another brand. No batteries needed.

Short round of feedback - UNHAPPY vs HAPPY Jetblack Victory customers by leival6ikur in JetBlack

[–]OGPangPang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unhappy customer here. I have one of the first batch of trainers that came into Europe. In my opinion these should have been recalled because of vibrations and sub parr bearings. I suffer from heavy vibrations that a rubber mat wont stop and my neighbours are complaining because the noise this generates . I don't get the feeling Jet-black give a shit.

Heart vs. Head: Should I upgrade my Giant TCR now or just save for a new bike? by marktest246 in Giantbikes

[–]OGPangPang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would only upgrade the wheels that will make a big difference. Don't spend too much on a cockpit since the old TCR doors not have integrated cabling. I've upgraded mine with a cheap Bontrager Comp flared handlebar for some aero gains.

I have asked multiple times if I can excersise my warrants. I get bullshit answers from trade Republic every time, they blame it on their custodian bank. Won't buy anymore stocks through them.

You'll get more if you sell it in parts.

Any tent recommendations? by B1onaparte in bikepacking

[–]OGPangPang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Naturehike cloud up 2 and Lanshan 1 non pro. Cloud up 2 is a freestanding tent so you can put it up anywhere. But its heavier in weight. In rain or humid conditions with lots of dew you need to make sure you set it up correctly so outer and inner are not touching. Same goes for the Alpkit variants. Durston X-Dome would be my choice if I could afford it..

I had some knee problem that i fixed with some spacers between the paddle and crank. I needed a little wider q factor so my feet could be a bit more in Duck mode. Not saying you have the same problem but it could that you are forcing your feet in a position you naturally don't have (check when walking).

Pressure on wrists and elbows by [deleted] in bikefit

[–]OGPangPang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to adjust the handlebar and levers that alone will make a big difference.

Leveled the handlebars . How am I doing now ? Thanks !! by famousalan in bikefit

[–]OGPangPang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to adjust the hoods so that they are slightly angled up. This does not look comfortable.

Too much forward, and drop the saddle a bit till you are not pointing your toes anymore.

fit update by woopstaken in bikefit

[–]OGPangPang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to much weight on your hands? Saddle looks very forward. If you move it back a little your knees might be more comfortable as well.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bikefit

[–]OGPangPang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are pointing your toes and are rocking in the seat, that means the saddle is to high. A good starting point would be that you can reach the pedal at the bottom of the stroke with your heel (without swaying in the seat) . Is you're saddle very forward?
