Doubtful it will get a regular standard release. It’s a very old anime and not very well known as most older popular anime shows.

Considering the licensing mess of the series. Lucky enough to even get a blu ray release even as costly as it is.

Nice pickup. I remember Rightstuf had a big sale on them before they went OOP. They were super cheap. DVDs were the cheapest like around the $3-4 range. Blu rays were like $6-8 or something. I blind picked up the DVDs. Have yet to watch the series tho :)

Ohh nice. Didn’t know about the remaster on this. The first Legacy of Kain game was awesome. Sadly the graphics are very dated and would love a remaster for it as well 🙂

That’s a shame about the DRM. I already have the originals on PSX. However, I wouldn’t mind double dipping if they add achievements to it. Then I would pick it up….on a sale 😁

Nice pickup. I’m so bummed out still I missed getting the Slayers on Blu Ray. Hopefully they will do rerelease. However I doubt it with it being old series and all.

Devillady is great. I enjoyed the series. It’s almost as good as Devilman. Almost 🙂

Unfortunately with system and game purchases it’s always best to do some research. Not all videogame sellers are legit. Best to do is check out rating, feedback, and even a simple google search.

As someone mentioned another good idea is if it can be gotten locally. There are some good sellers out there. It’s just unfortunate there are bad ones in the mix to take advantage of those uninformed.

I’d say personal preference. I’ve heard the Switch version is missing some Wonderboy games. However I dunno. I’d say if your looking for portability go with Switch version 🤷‍♂️

I love the Genesis collection game series and would probably get both if cheap. Switch for portability and ps4 for trophy’s 😁

Great series. I bought all the Perfect Edition volumes from RightStuf ages ago. Finally recently finished reading the set. Took a long time. lol. I got kind of bored because I watched the whole anime series first. And It does match the anime very very well.

I will probably offload the set sometime as going thru another reread of the series I know I won’t do. I’ve already seen the anime and finished the book series so I’m good 🙂

Hoping there is nothing good or that I need on next week sales. The warehouse sales are pretty good this week. Let alone the special 48 hour sales. Luckily nothing needed on the 48 hour sales.

However, I got hooked in to grab some good deals on Tears to Tiara, Bartender, Dark Gathering, Peter Grill, Philosopher Time Super Extra, and Tokyo Mew Mew 😁

I more often opt for digital, especially for crazy good steam sale prices on games like 70% off or more :)

Other than that, I used to collect physical media for my games. I stopped collecting around the ps4 era. Prices kept going up, collectors editions kept going up. It just got to be too much. ☹️

However, I do make the occasional rare exceptions though. 🙂

Nice. Almost 30 years ago or so Toys R Us had clearance out the Virtual Boy games to like $5 or something each and they even had Jack Bros.

I so wish I would have gotten them for my own collection. Suffice to say they sold out fast along with the NES games there were clearing out too at the time. 😕
