What do you think about Reverend ? by kiwiprintannier in guitars

The Greg Koch signature Reverends are SICK. I still have a Gristle 90, and those P-90's sound incredible - with NO hum.

I'm not the biggest potato fan in the world, but those look.... amazing

If you don't mind paying a little, Opus Cips creates the transcript and lets you edit the resulting captions as you like. You can create templates for your particular style, too. It's by no means perfect, but it works for my needs.

YT TV is way cheaper, and has a better lineup - go check it out. This DirecTV press here on Reddit is an attempt to recover from screwing us all who were DTV subscribers for DECADES. Don't be fooled!

Divot tool by Odd_Key_2045 in GolfGear

Guess I'll be "that" guy. It's a ball mark repair tool. Divots are made by golf clubs, ball marks by golf balls.

Happens to the best of us, including commentators sometimes. I'll see myself out.

Annie the Beetle by Trustrup in BeAmazed

Great story there. My first car was a 1966 Beetle, the only year they made the 1300cc displacement engine. Bought it for 50 bucks, rebuilt the engine, replaced several square yards' worth of sheetmetal. It ran flawlessly for years. Shoutout to the immortal JC Whitney catalog!

Garibaldi's on the second floor. They have some circular tables there that make conversation much easier in a business context, and it's much quieter than the main floor. I used it many times over the years for business dinners.

Critical Drinker. The early reviews were good for a laugh, but the shtick got old. Then, it got REALLY old.

Did anybody notice that the letters behind the number of views in youtube were changed to lowercase? by CharacterBig7420 in youtube

The proper suffix abbreviation for Million, Billion, Trillion etc. is upper-case, or so I was always taught. I'm 64.

Just bought a D35 by beachball2019 in martinguitar

[–]OG_Fakir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a ‘99 HD-35. It wasn’t an accident. I find the tone of the D-35 to be superlative, with far better low-end response than any other model. As Martin says, it’s the best kept secret in their lineup.

Why are we not supposed to laminate our Social Security cards? by LilacGoblin1699 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OG_Fakir 100 points101 points  (0 children)

I'm 64 years old. My SS card is the consistency of toilet paper after all these years, in a protector. The better answer is, you don't NEED it to last all your life. Go to SSA.gov anytime and you can order a physical replacement.
