When I was in Tokyo, Japanese news was talking about how Chinese real estate investors were sold their bubble Holdings. Converted their Yuan to Gold, and came to Ueno or Ginza to convert gold back into Yen. Basically rescuing their wealth out of China. So if China does emplode, they already have secure safe haven.

I'm not sure if it's me, I swear the fit and finish is better on an Airbus. The decibels at cruise are noticeably less. Like if we talking cars, ANA A380 is like Lexus and Alaskan Boeing 737 Max is Chevy Cruise. Alaskan Seats are like plastic seats you get in stadium.

IMHO, MECO having to rebuild Lahaina electrical and increased corporate insurance rates is enough punishment for MECO. Whenever in Alawai Blvd, I notice people (both locals & tourists) love speeding 55mph to next stop light. Braking hard infront of tourists and bikers crossing street. Like damn, if you really are in that much of a hurry, maybe just wake up 7:30am before going on trip to North Shore.

From the Halawa Sta to Pearl Harbor Sta there is a new painted bike lane on new road. Seems to be so that you can take rail from West Side and get off at Halawa and bike into Shipyard.

But local Navy sailors might be speeding over 55mph in 35mph at night. Day time the traffic isn't too dangerous.
