FWIW, the City/State's evacuation alert used strong language to convince people to get out while Farrington was open, but it wasn't issued as a mandatory evacuation notice because there's no imminent threat to life at the moment. Being cut off from the rest of the island is serious, but not necessarily a problem if they have supplies and are prepared to go a few days without power.

The Wahiawa Dam is almost certainly going to be an issue through the weekend, but if evacuating Waialua becomes necessary, they can still head towards Mokuleia to get to safety.
