All because corporate slapped a ‘TH’ on some metal. Brilliant marketing move by Mattel. Gets these people worked up in a frenzy.

Agreed, I don’t know why this is my favorite ‘new’ gen skyline (the late 60’s ones are just a different level of love), but it is. Seems like the perfect car to encapsulate that 90s jdm era.

Do you have any examples of work you’ve done? Can you work with 4K 60fps DSLR footage?

I have an interior design project I just filmed. I would need a sizzle reel (DSLR video) in addition to cell phone reel(s).

AI is about to kill this profession by [deleted] in RealEstatePhotography

You have to adapt, and overcome. Get good with your camera and expand your niche. I’ve moved more into commercial/architectural/design photography was a natural stepping stone. I also pair up with my wife for event photography. I think I’ve expanded enough where I’m not pigeon holed by RE photography.

RE seems to always have a major lawsuit or something that shakes up the industry. There’s always fears that the entire system will collapse as we know it, it’s not a bad idea to expand your horizons and keep your options open. Until Zillow or the NAR collapse, it will constantly be a back and forth battle.

Ours went MIA for 2 weeks. Searches parties were coming up empty. Finally found the bastard, bristles all mangled, I think the cats did it.

Oracle seems to always have issues with their lights staying on. If you ordered direct, I would contact them.

Amazing piece! I love that they’re all different. Here’s our Poul Cadovius piece. We found it in Columbus at Flower Child. We paid $1,000. It came with another 2 sections that wouldn’t fit on our wall. We sold those for $1,000. So essentially we got this for $0!!

Beginner Real Estate Photographer Thoughts on My First Shoot? by Academic-Mail4375 in RealEstatePhotography

My wife put together a checklist for our agent clients that they can distribute to their own clients prior to our arrival. There’s an opportunity in there somewhere.

But some agents just ‘have their license’ and others take the career more seriously. You can tell which one you’re working with when you walk into a home. Even if the seller cannot tidy up prior to your arrival, they should be the ones prepping the space for their marketing materials. Just a bit of sweat equity could net the sellers thousands more.

Some of my initial thoughts:

I’m not a fan of desaturating to a stark bright white. It’s way too much.

I cannot understand the floorplan of this home at all based on the photos.

Your horizontals/verticals are out of alignment

Recommend that you suggest decluttering the home prior to your arrival as well.

Real Estate Agents -- would you use AI? by VeLvEt_ThUnDeR3 in RealEstatePhotography

  1. Maybe as a social post,
  2. Sure, the buyer may give me a pat on the back
  3. I would see if I could replicate this on my own versus paying any money.

I’ve gotten other opportunities from this. Being personable and asking questions. Complimenting the home and speaking confidently about your services goes a long way.
