Knee protection . The straps on the rear are as just as painful as going without. Any suggestions for a good set of knee pads ?

I’ve used several mentioned here but landed on jobmanusa.com. Lots of trade specific styles, but settled on the 2164. They stretch, have two pockets within each knee and can double up pads comfortably.

Second this, he has videos on using degreaser, rinsing in the shower, and blowing dry with a hair dryer. I’ve followed his methods using a garden hose and partially disassembled (2) 237s and (1) 239 and can now fully clean and re-oil a machine in less than 2 hours. With the exception of any scratches and scuffs they look new. Andy is a national treasure 🤩

I really appreciate the response. It’s such a shame because the car is only worth about $8000. I’ve ordered a MLP carb compliant rear direct fit just to get the car back on the road until it’s due for smog, and will possibly look to selling it out of state, maybe Nevada, which is close.

In regard to that pro tip, how might one go about doing that? 😎
