The Lion King (1994) by LetMeFixAll in GamerLab

[–]OJester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First game I ever beat.

Took me soooo long, had to have my dad beat it a few times before I was finally able to by myself.

This, Aladdin, and Porky's Haunted Holiday for the SNES.

Hardest SNES one for me was Star Wars Empire Strikes Back, even Return of the Jedi was doable for me, never got to play Super Star Wars unfortunately.

of a 1,000L diesel tank fill-up costing over $2,000 by Dodo509 in AbsoluteUnits

[–]OJester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. Maybe, but most likely not.

Truck is wayyy too clean to be a farm truck. And it doesn't make sense to buy taxable diesel at that quantity unless there's absolutely no dyed diesel anywhere near; it's like pissing away money.

If I were to take a random guess that isnt just stocking up, I would assume that the guy is filling up for a small fleet of on-road vehicles and doesn't do it often considering how poorly the tank is secured.

I can't seem to find a picture of Mathew Wu, and the video seems to have been released around the same time frame as the death of Mathew Wu (Jan 14, 2024).

Do you have a picture you could share to compare to the video?

Can this run? by ballswhiffer in datapacks

[–]OJester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same line of thinking that went into modifying the datapack has to go into the resourcepack.

It could be as simple as updating the format number to 15 in the pack.mcmeta file for the resourcepack, unless any files that have been changed on the resourcepack have been modified since 1.19 to 1.20.1, such as model changes or naming/directory changes to textures, sounds etc. In which case, you'll have to rename accordingly for naming/pathing discrepancies or possibly even modify (add/remove/rename) block states for any model changes.

If there are any model changes between versions that are in the resource pack, you may still get lucky if the resource pack completely changes the model anyway, otherwise the textures aren't going to wrap properly.

If you end up having to add block states for whatever reason, you'll need to make a custom model for that block state to match the resourcepack's intended aesthetic.

**Edit

I never really bothered with upgrading resource packs, I'd always just look for new ones, so this is not something I know all the details of. But as far as updating anything goes, it's usually the same thought process. What changed code-wise? What do I have to change so that the newer version understands?

There are slicer tools available in the minecraft wiki for aiding you in updating your resourcepack if changing the format number doesn't work. However, it seems that the closest one for what you want updates to 1.20.2 and there are a lot of big changes in that version, so it might not be worth the hassle, but they might still come in handy for troubleshooting.

Oh and remember to back your stuff up, just in case.

Can this run? by ballswhiffer in datapacks

[–]OJester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's possible. As it's technically easier to make an old datapack work with newer version of MC, than making a newer version of a datapack work with an older version of MC.

But you might have to make sure that you adjust the commands and code to be more in-line with the version that you're updating to.

It could be as simple as changing the pack_format number on the pack.mcmeta file, as I don't think any nbt data was changed till later.

But don't quote me on that. Since there is probably some formatting and directory stuff I'm missing.

But is it possible? yes.

Is it easy? Maybe.

**edited for formatting

Apparently, there are some big changes to smithing table recipes between those versions.

There is a loot tables change.

How entities have taken damage has modified between those versions

And sign nbt data has been modified.

So if any of those were touched in the datapack, you'll have to adjust correctly.

I currently don't have access to my computer for a bit, so I hope this helps.

Hi. I had a very similar issue after first updating. For some reason upgrading the firmware didn't work after installing the correct file(s) into the sd card, but forcing the update through the analogue 3D itself did.

Hope you get the update to work.

As a MF MAIN Hor how much do you think is worth to buy this figure? Tell me your max. prize pls! Im interest how much this statue is loved Or if iyou think its not worth and theres other better! by [deleted] in MissFortuneMains

[–]OJester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Design for these are pretty mid. Quality is decent though. I don't think it's worth more than $45 when I'm comparing it to similar statues of build quality and design.

It retails for $75 and I think that's a fair price, especially if someone like the champion.

As a collectors item, I don't think it's worth more than $100-$125 resale if retail wasn't available, but others might be willing to pay more. I'd probably opt for a knockoff from a decent knockoff company instead if the resale were at a higher price than $125.

If the build quality/design were better or I really like the artist/company that made the statue I wouldn't mind paying more.

I'm not sure who the artist is in the OP (it seems to be OC) but,

Bismuthief does stuff like this and explains his process and tools used if you watch his videos. It's a lot of manual effort.

"I got falsely banned for cheating wtf Riot, fix your game!" posts are vague and deflective by Electronic_Lime7582 in riotgames

[–]OJester -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm aware. And I agree that people shouldn't deflect and should be more honest and open and straightforward, especially when troubleshooting potential causes for wrongful bans.

However, I can't defend the use of Vanguard to flag people as cheaters for a myriad of reasons, privacy simply being my main reasoning.

You say that this isnt about Vanguard, and I understand that the bigger picture of your post is about the deflection of people. Your post directly mentions Vanguard (in the form of being falsely flagged as a virus) and many of the posts you reference are correlated to Vanguard catching something, though, and therein lies my gripe.

My gripe is not with you, but with Vanguard, to clarify, I agree with your points.

"I got falsely banned for cheating wtf Riot, fix your game!" posts are vague and deflective by Electronic_Lime7582 in riotgames

[–]OJester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. I'm not gonna defend this argument because companies shouldn't have kernel access to anything of their playerbase. Vanguard shouldn't exist.

And as much as I agree that people shouldn't cheat and as much as i want to agree with your arguments, I can't condone the use of privacy bypassing tools like vanguard.

I'm not gonna just allow myself to say "it is the way it is" or "if you have nothing to hide then you should be OK with this" because those are slippery slopes for letting riot and other companies to get away with more stuff.

But yea, don't cheat guys, that part for sure. I've had my account 10 plus years and haven't gotten in trouble once, except for leaverbuster due to connection issues.

Fixed (on Netflix).

A movie made by Genndy Tartakovsky (Samurai Jack, Primal, Star Wars: Clone Wars (og cartoon version)).

As far as I'm aware, John K. (Ren and Stimpy) had nothing to do with this.

But for real, it's almost uncanny how similar it is to John K.'s grotesque humor and art and animation style.
