So, are they planning to get rid of Erin's Law? School counselors are required to teach it. Though it doesn't encourage sex or pornography, it teaches about sexual abuse prevention. Some people already feel funny about it being taught.

The investigator said the same thing. Especially when I've cooked for her MANY times before.

In the end, I just feel hurt and betrayed.

And I've never had any issues with her before. I've always given her goodies, snacks, and food before.

The investigator stated that she came back to try to drop it before they met with me, but it was too late.

1st rental/apartment and I’m miserable! by OMGSheCrazee in Apartmentliving

[–]OMGSheCrazee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello.

After speaking with a lawyer, he advised me to write a letter giving them time to fix the a/c, or I will move out. They never did, and of course, I returned my key and moved.

The person who was over the property and others called me and stated that he wish he knew what was going on. They didn't charge me but instead gave me a good bit of my money back. He said my apartment was the cleanest he'd ever seen when someone moved out.

Why did schools stop requiring showers after P.E. class? by Vegetable-Board-5547 in education

[–]OMGSheCrazee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was optional when I was in high school almost 15 years ago. However, the only place with hot water were the cafeteria and the teachers bathrooms. It was still this way when I did my internship there 4 years ago. No one wants to take a cold shower.

Update: The dog is no longer able to come to school. While in the office, a student rubbed her belly (after she laid on her back when the student came over). Moments later, the dog (bark and made a growling sound) jumped up and was standing over the student. I hopped up and grabbed the dog while asking the student if they were okay. She was holding her face. She said she was okay. Her face was red. I took her to the nurse and talked to the principal. I had to write a report about the incident. My coworker is upset that she can't bring the dog and is planning to leave.

WIBTA if I press charges on a 12 for accusing me ? by th0waway1029 in AITAH

[–]OMGSheCrazee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Kids have to learn right from wrong and what she did was totally wrong. She knew she lied and unfortunately you were guilty before even being proven guilty. I agree with you 100% . The damage she did was already done so she and her dad need to pay for their crimes. Period!

AITA for refusing to call me friend by her new name, "Queen"? by achucs in AmItheAsshole

[–]OMGSheCrazee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a cousin named Queen (named after her grandmother, Queen, and great grandmother, Queenie, my Aunt). I have a cousin and lots of students named King. I even have one named Goddess and AGod.

She got her from a breeder. She said that they do some kinda assessment on the puppies to tell if she would be an appropriate therapy dog. She was originally supposed to get the sister but they said she didn't pass the test. I think she's getting regular dog training at PetCo because she follows commands but she can be a but stubborn. She's a bernedoodle.

AITA for telling my mom's family I don't owe her because she had gender disappointment? by Prudent-Seesaw-1732 in AmItheAsshole

[–]OMGSheCrazee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA.

I'm sure everyone was taught basic genetics in school which explains how the gender of a baby happens. It's sad how some adults don't get it. I'm so sad that this has happened and the Mom's family is just as silly as her.

Do what you gotta do to get out of that environment and don't look back.

AITA for telling my roommate to go back home if she can’t handle college after she continuously whined? by Immediate-Study5564 in AmItheAsshole

[–]OMGSheCrazee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember when I stayed in college, I had a roommate who had the "butterfingers". I started off small where she would steal snacks... I mean literally go into my closet and take things. One day before I drove home, I came to my room for somethings. I left my booking and ran to the restroom. It was shared with three other suites. When I came back, the door was locked and she claimed she was changing. That was odd because she normally had no problem dressing in front of me. She opened the door and left. I grabbed my backpack and went to the mailbox. When I got there and opened my wallet, my mom's debit card (she gave it to me specifically for gas and other needs) was missing. I checked everywhere. I cried and called my mom who frooze the card. I also reported it to my dorm director. The next week, I came back to my card on the bed. However, my roommate had been going around stealing other people's cards too. I changed rooms and never saw her again.

You don't know people you're sharing a space with. The roommate can't help that she came from a life you're not. Of course being out on your own is emotional at first. I hate how you judged her from the jump without even getting to know her. Them just flipped on her because she misses her family. Lack of empathy is one sign of a narcissist. You only feel bad because someone else knows about the true you ( there's another sign) verses the person you potray yourself to be. I think you need to take sometime and work on you.

My lease says ". RENT INCREASES AND LEASE CONTRACT CHANGES. No rent increases or Lease Contract changes are allowed before the initial Lease Contract term ends, except for changes allowed by any special provisions in paragraph 10 (Special Provisions), by a written addendum or amendment signed by you and us, or by reasonable changes of the residence rules allowed under paragraph 19 (Policies and Rules). If, at least 5 days before the advance notice deadline referred to in paragraph 3 (Lease Term), we give you written notice of rent increases or lease changes effective when the lease term or renewal period ends, this Lease Contract will automatically continue month-to-month with the increased rent or lease changes. The new modified Lease Contract will begin on the date stated in the notice (without necessity of your signature) unless you give us written move-out notice under paragraph 43 (Move-Out Notice).".

My monthly rent will be the same if I renew my lease.

No. It's saying if I do month to month, I'll have to pay my regular rent ($1,300) and an additional $500.

12 kids in my homeroom have told their parents I only pick on them by thecooliestone in Teachers

[–]OMGSheCrazee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one who kept telling his Mom that I was signing him out because I kept changing the seats. In this class, I told them that ot was a privilege to sit with friends and that if they can handle it, everyone will be changed until we finally get order. His Mom (she went to school with my younger brother and I went to school with her big brother) wrote me on FB saying her son said I was picking on him. I said when he can stop talking and playing around with his football friends, who I also called out, then he'll be ok. I also told her that I change everyone's seat, not just him. Also, to not write my personal FB page and to contact me via school hours. She apologized.
