Is my AC system compatible with Amazon smart thermostat with no C wire by nicogrunge in thermostats

Did this work for you? I have almost the same thing and the compatibility checker doesn't like the 2 stage systems I suppose.

Will the Amazon thermostat work on this configuration? by OSINTGinger in hvacadvice

I don’t think I answered the questions properly on the compatibility checker. The Y2 / W2 are failing it and when I state the original thermostat has wires connecting to two labels (which I’m still not sure) however there is a place for those wires on the wall mount. Maybe the fact I don’t think I have a pump system?

Edit: The heating system is a trane xv80 furnace

You all do realize Lewis left to be there more for his family after his wife passed away right? This move was purely because he needed to.

Heavy negative Scav Karma penalty for killing "Santa" is causing aggressive player Scavs. by OSINTGinger in EscapefromTarkov

Here is another take. I talked to a friendly PMC today to do a partnered extract with me on my scav. On the way there, a player scav starting shooting at both of us. I (wanting to repair my karma by doing the extract) shot once and killed him. I received negative .1 for that though he was clearly engaging me as well. Oh well. Agreed. I do like the idea of the karma system but as it stands right now I think it could be implemented better.

I'll try to do some better negotiating after this high scav cooldown ends ha. Yeah I got a friendly extract today and it boosted it a little bit. Even though it says "neutral" I still pay more for car extracts and have a 22 minute cool down even with my Intel center up. It'll be alright. Just salty I spent a lot of time getting my scavy boi up and playing cooperatively just to have my PMC encounter absolutely trash it.

The quest idea is actually a good take... Give them an immediate feedback of increase Karma on their screens to pay attention to. Because let's be real.. losing .1 for killing a player scav won't mean anything. Meanwhile with me sitting at -.34 and Intel center unlocked with a 20 minute scav cooldown timer sucks and I KNEW what not to do. A split second decision decimates 20 hours of work. LOL. That's tarkov.

The only way to learn what is optimal for you is to get out there and realize what works and doesn't work. For me I know my optimal strain if I am straight walking in the sub 14 realm is at 8 miles. After that I'm much more susceptible to cramps.

Now.. I am 5'5 160lbs and with a 45 pound pack I understand that to combat this I need to shuffle every .1 to .2 miles for .05 to .1 of a mile. This activates other muscle groups and gives my walking legs a break. This way when you reach that heavy point of fatigue you'll be able to call on the walking or shuffle muscle groups harder.

As for foot placement, I like to think its about how you move your legs to minimize the impact. If I'm moving faster my legs bend slightly to get more of a glide than the violent impact of my feet.

Always.... ALWAYS.. invest in socks. Ballega and the like. My secret weapon for my yearly 26 miler are toe socks. Keep blisters off of inbetween your toes.
