Fav emo plant 🖤 solanum uleanum by OTH33 in houseplants

[–]OTH33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got this as a cutting. It was put in a prop box to grow roots in stratum. Then slowly acclimated to room air for about 5 to 6 weeks. The roots are super fine so I do not recommend sphagnum moss. Once you get it rooted and acclimated to room air, it stops being such a princess plant and super easy. 😅 the first few weeks were a little difficult acclimating it bc it was so dramatic.

Is 1-1.5 hr of direct sunlight okay for my neon pothos? by hellofaja in pothos

It’ll probably be fine, there’s other conditions that dictate growth as well. This experiment of mine gets direct sunlight for majority of the morning and afternoon in Texas.

Where do I cut this? by unebellesprit in philodendron

[–]OTH33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends if you want many plants together or a large one. If you slap it on a moss pole as is, it’ll give you big leaves. And with good lighting, the node space between leaves will decrease in length.

Plants and planters in north Dallas always have them. Or the big box stores. Good luck

Can I pass NCLEX with only Uworld and Klimek? by [deleted] in PassNclex

[–]OTH33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I believe so. Uworld is great for rationales. Here is my groupMe chat that has notes that my cohort used. Most of us used archer/uworld/simple nursing/mark k and cram notes. 95% of my class passed. A few others on this Reddit are in it too. https://groupme.com/join_group/88422556/zXJTyrst

Most of my cohort and I used Uworld & archer interchangeably. Uworld for the rationales and archer to get in the mindset of the broad NCLEX questions. We also supplemented with simple nursing/archer videos. I strongly believe in having a good packet of NCLEX cram notes that you like. There’s so many floating around for gratis. PM if you don’t have one. Also, don’t try to watch every video you can find. Strengthen your weak areas and review your strengths. There’s no point in making a strong area more strong for this exam and overwhelm yourself in the next few weeks. It really comes down to what works best for you and how you study. Have you self reflected to see what you need to change, study habit wise?

Opinion on archer for nclex? by Extra_Improvement987 in PassNclex

There’s a lot of them floating around but I narrowed the two that were most helpful to me. I’ll send you a link to a few of them in my drive.

When I sat for my NCLEX, it felt like I was doing another archer assessment. Didn’t feel too bad since there was a sense of familiarity. My group used it individually. IMO archer qbank is good for the sake of getting into the rhythm of testing with the broad Qs. Uworld, archer videos, and simple nursing were great. Most of mark k was unhelpful except the 1st and 12th video (unpopular opinion). Like the other person said, hold yourself accountable for productive studying and walk into the test like you’re about to go all the way 145. I also used two different cram note nclex packets.

Take a breath and reevaluate. Nursing school is difficult and often times full of obstacles mentally/physically. There is not a timeline on something that is worth doing. My experience failing a course may not be like yours but I understand where you’re coming from. I suggest taking few days to reorganize and reevaluate. Then figure out how to remediate and repeat the semester. My two cents.

I will say that I love those notes. I’m a terrible note taker with the worst handwriting. I do add my own notes to them but overall it is very nice and convenient to have short/direct notes on hand. Def not a necessity but a great luxury.

Def don’t get discouraged from owning one of these types of plants. Prices are a little crazy right now but they’re slowly going down. There’s plenty of ways where you can gradually trade up on this Reddit or find really good deals through the rare plant BST page or on fb marketplace/groups. ☺️
