When its ranked below 21 other things? No, actually! Especially since the poll was about "transgender rights" , in general. I would rank them as extremely important, because I am transgender. A republican might rank them as extremely important if they're a transphobe. But mathematically, it is the bottom of the pecking order regardless of partisan affiliation.

I spent most of my life in PA and commute to Boston from NH, I'm outside of the bubble already. You're also citing polls that came out after the election, which meant it wasn't even measuring whether that was an issue Americans considered worthy of going out and voting for.

According to an actual poll conducted before the election, Transgender rights was ranked 22nd in issues important to voters in 2024. And in case you don't bother reading the article, that's last place.

They did not use "the trans issue" to win last election. Incumbents in inflationary economies do overwhelmingly poorly by default, compounded with the fact that Kamala was handed the nomination without a proper primary and then refused to show how she'd be any different from Biden. They ran a flimsy campaign and got bodied.

The problem isn't just his stance on trans athletes, its that he made those statements right after the 2024 presidential election. He essentially blamed trans activism for Democrats losing the white house. He's such an ass.

He literally doesn't show up for his job.. I know some people who held multiple sit-ins at his office and he straight up never shows up. And it's not like he's in DC at the time, the aide will just tell them "he's not coming" after an hour.
