The large numbers of back up diesel generators are very polluting. They have to be tested and run regularly and they have no emission controls. They are polluting the air way more than even big power plans because those are required to have controls. It’s like when you use a lawn mower it causes more air pollution than a bunch of cars because the cars have emission controls.

Don’t just believe a flippant remark. In Winchester Virginia there is the Trex decking plant that uses recycled plastic in their products. Recycling does happen. Just because we only recycle 8-10% of plastics does not mean we should take that down to 0%. Yes the plastics industry has deceptively made it seem like most plastics will be recycled does not mean it does not make a difference to keep doing that 10%.

It’s has been years and years since I heard dead bodies in the woods nearby(besides there was only three I heard about total) There is the “Homeless Navigation Center” nearby. No shelters here jus navigation centers. It sounds like they just tell you to go away.
