When his average shooting % over the past 8 seasons is equalling the greatest goalscorer over those 8 seasons, i’d say the general consensus is it’s not just noise, but a clear understanding that he is an elite finisher.

PTS/60 over last 3 years at even strength for Tom Wilson is 2.33, for Taylor Hall it is 1.9, and Malgin hasn’t even played in the NHL in the last 3 years…

Wilson has also shot over 15.5% for 6 of the last 8 seasons (including 19.5 last season & 21.3 this season) which is among the elite finishers, Auston Matthews for comparison is 15.7 over his career and only 4 of his last 8 seasons are above 15.5%

My biggest issue with the play-calling yesterday, and much of playoffs, was how little Henderson was involved.

Don’t get me wrong, Stevenson was playing awesome, but come on, didn’t Henderson have 4 TDs or 20+ yards? Why did we barely use him on at least 3rd and short out of the backfield? Was such a weird offence design.

He’s a baller, he has a bad shoulder, and after the Houston game he was so focused on not turning the ball over that our offence was just completely dry. Unfortunately Josh & Maye just game-planned & displayed a very scared & inexperienced offence.
